In the heart of Fremantle.Very well maintained. Friendly staff. pubs both above and below room but due to thick brick walls the only noise came from the street (and was not an issue).

All staff were amazing, great place to stay and a great spot for a drink on the rooftop bar.

Enjoyed our overnight stay at the National. Good location, lovely staff, thought it was going to be a bit noisy with the hoons in their cars but was ok on a Sunday night. Room was large, bed ok, pillows ok, they need to put a handtowel hook near the basin if you want to improve the bathroom :) Thank you

The property is comfortable and conveniently located in the heart of the town. There are many fantastic options for dining, coffee, ice-cream and shopping on the doorstep of the property. Staff are very helpful. Unfortunately the lift was broken but the staff were only too willing to help with transporting our luggage the three floors to our room. The public areas of the hotel are a little tired but more than functional The rooms are excellent.

When booking online the price was $238 but on arrival my card had been charged $318

The hotel is above a very busy bar with live bands. Rather busy and loud till about 11pm but then quiet

for pub type accomodation,very nicely presented and clean, reception staff was very friendly and helpful

Great room. I got lucky with the corner room and it was very spacious. Loved the bath tub and shower. Great welcome from Lauren. The server Belgium that served me dinner and the British server for high tea were fantastic. The room was relatively well muted from all the noises on the street. Some sounds can't be silenced.....

Loved the location, restaurants and cafes galore, bookshops, grocery Kakulas, vintage clothing shops, beach 650m away. Very close to museums , art galleries, train station and sea transport to Rottnest island.

Staff were having a company party and the person covering reception was an absolute gem.

What a brilliant location! Staff were excellent. Roof top bar a lovely place to chill. Great stay!
