Owner was very communicative and friendly, on site when we arrived and offered to help with our bags. This was my kids favorite place to stay!

Fantastic Stay at Björk Guesthouse! I had an incredible experience at Björk Guesthouse during my trip to Iceland. The guesthouse itself is cozy, comfortable, and very well-maintained, offering a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. The rooms were clean, spacious, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend Björk Guesthouse to anyone looking for a relaxing and authentic Icelandic experience. I’ll definitely be staying here again on my next visit!

Great property, big bathroom

We had a wonderful stay at Bjork Guesthouse from April 11 to 12. The communication with one of the owners, Alexander, was fantastic. He was responsive and answered all of my questions promptly, providing valuable guidance on where to go and look for the northern lights. The room we stayed in was very spacious, well-equipped, and incredibly comfortable. Additionally, the location was convenient for our next stop, making our travel plans seamless. Overall, I highly recommend Bjork Guesthouse for anyone looking for a welcoming and comfortable stay in South Iceland. Thank you, Alexander, for your hospitality I would definitely recommend your guesthouse to anyone.

The property location is perfect

The room was basic, conveniently located, and a good value. It had everything we needed for a one night stay, including a nice hot shower. The owners were very accommodating and helpful when I contacted them. We walked to a nearby restaurant for a very nice dinner. It was warm and cozy room on a cold night.

The check-in and check-out was easy and quick. Felt very safe and comfortable.

The brothers who own the property are so nice! They touched base with us beforehand to tell us our room was ready early. The shower was hot and had perfect water pressure. Room was beautiful and clean with a very comfy bed. The lil’ treat they left for us was a nice touch as well! Will definitely be staying here on our next visit to Laugarvatn.

This was our favorite guesthouse we stayed at while in Iceland. Although there are no cooking facilities so if that’s important for you, you will need to consider. We appreciated having our own bathroom for one night. The room was clean and had everything we needed.
