When we were there it was brilliant weather and the breakfast table full with breakfast-stuff was situated in the beautiful garden. I would give this place 6 stars if that would be possible.

The room does need updating but ok for one night, the beds are very hard. Breakfast was very good and parking is ok.

We had a lovely comfortable stay here in beautiful surroundings with breakfast served in the conservatory. The breakfast was fresh and very tasty, thanks from all of our party x

The lady was very welcoming. My little daughter was very happy playing around. Very good conditions and the breakfast delicious.

Some of the furniture in the room was slightly old fashioned but it was very clean and tidy and suited us perfectly as a family of 3. We were provided with tea and coffee making products and there was cutlery and a table and chairs to eat in the room, if necessary. The breakfast was nice and the host was friendly and kind. We would stay here again ☺️

Lindsey and Richard run a wonderful B&B with a cooked to order breakfast with farm fresh eggs. The rooms are spotless and well taken care of during the stay by Lindsey. The area is quiet at night for a good sleep, the yard and gardens lovely, and an excellent pub close by. We really hope to be back one day.

Wonderful stay with friendly and helpful Lyndsey. Easy to find, safe on site parking, slightly tricky to exit, maybe a trim of the clematis might help :- Super family room, very clean carpet, felt like new. Sofa to allow tv watching which is great. Plenty of mugs, tea, coffee all high quality items. Fridge and microwave in our room. Bed comfortable with cared for and clean linens. Breakfast superb - choices of cereals, fruit juices, yoghurt, fruit, cooked breakfast - all excellent quality and cooked with care. I had mentioned that I’m dairy free and this was catered for. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the local area. Standen and Wakehurst should you enjoy history, gardening and nature. Highly recommend and we look forward to revisiting. We enjoyed our lovely big room overlooking the garden after a long journey. Breakfast was delicious. Parking was close by.

The place was lovely, it was close to the location we attended. We will definitely return again. Nice and cosy property and the owner was very kind and caring.

Our hostess was lovely. Good communication before our stay, clear instructions, and a good welcome with just enough information but not too much. The beds were comfortable, the en suite room clean, homely, roomy and provided with a small fridge and microwave plus crockery, cutlery etc which made our lives a lot easier. Very good breakfasts, she cooked our choices of eggs to perfection! All in all a great stay and worth the extra drive from the family members we were visiting half an hour or so away. We will definitely return.

If you didn't like bananas there was no alternative. Cooked food was excellent though. Home made preserves and honey from local producer. King size bed was very comfy but single bed rather hard. Very peaceful place but parking was a little difficult at times. Overall a good base for exploring west and east Sussex.

A lovely quiet and spacious room, nice breakfast with provision for my wife’s need for gluten-free as a coeliac. Beautiful surroundings and a very kind and caring landlady, attentive to our needs.
