Bed linen was spotless and general cleanliness of room was good. Windows were dirty and in the en-suite the back of the toilet seat and the surrounds of the toilet were in need of a good clean. Just generally needs more care taken

Was greated by a friendly, helpful lady. Went to our room that was a good size and very spacious, it was clean but i must say it looks very tired and needs updating, such a shame because it was stunning when it was first done when i attended a couple of weddings. The evening porter was very pleasant and sorted our continentaL breakfast out that was quiet poor. We never ended up getting much sleep due to the bed being very creaky evey time you made a slight move. I dont want to be negative but as i said it does need updating. On the other hand our stay was ok and very close to the function we was attending.

The hotel is unfortunately seriously dated and needs a massive revamp to keep up with the times and the rooms aren’t like advertised

Only word is disappointing. After repeated requests to fix the TV no one was able to, so we had 5 nights with no TV. We also asked for an extra blanket and the answer was no. You had to turn on the shower for at least five minutes in order for the hot water to start coming through. Seems like a total waste of water. The pillows were so flat my head was barely lifted off the bed. If you are after a cheap salemans stop off vibe, this is the place for you.

This hotel was empty which probably reflected it's location.state and facilities. My partner did not feel safe but had only booked for one night decided to endure it. Having used Hotels.com many times I just felt this hotel was not to the standard we have come to expect.

The hotel looked nothing like the photos in the online booking. The hotel while clean and the staff friendly was run down and tired.

Rooms and paul was amazing

The gentleman at check-in and breakfast was really good and friendly. Other than that the experience was not a good one, the hotel is in need of an overhaul in the rooms. Had to move rooms due to the generator for the air-conditioning system downstairs emitting a thudding sound (similar to a helicopter taking off) in the bedroom. Both rooms I was in need of a thoroughly good clean, the carpets and curtains had all sorts of marks on them

I was completely blown away by the state of my room, The curtain was hanging off the rails, The carpet was dirty and also the shower. Advertised was a restaurant but this was closed so I had to get Uber eats in for dinner. The breakfast was continental and it was basically 3 cereals and the one I chose was stale. Totally disappointed with this hotel it could be so nice

The hotel reception was cold and not wellcoming There was no food at the hotel and the rooms and shower were unclean The single staff on site was the receptionsist and also the cook but as there was no food we manage de to get a complimentry drink This hotel should be removed from Hotels.com and realy should refund me and another guest we booked who arrive later than us. Who had to sleep in her clothes as her room was very cold Do not recommend to anyone

Comfortable bed and pleasant & helpful staff but room looked a bit tired with stains on the carpet and marks on the wall. Restaurant menu quite limited. A bit dated overall.

Great stay. Cleanliness and washing facilities were not good however it was a last minute booking so overall happy!

Restful even on a hot summer's day. i hope the young lady on reception enjoyed her 21st Birthday!

It would seem that the hotel has changed hands recently and I think that we might have been the only guests on this day, - 7 June 2023. The young receptionist, who had been employed for only 3 months was extremely helpful and efficient, ad vising us that the restaurant had only a limited menu being bar meals; However she was helpful in suggesting local alternatives. Booking in was quick and efficient, we were allocated a room next to lift on first floor, very convenient for my limited mobility. Room was clean and tidy with all essentials. Breakfast was well cooked and presented although basic full english where we selected from menu on registration. 5 star it is not, but value for money it is!

Just love it there, it's my go to London stop over hotel.
