There are many good things about the hotel. Perfectly located, close to everything you need, bus to the airport, train station, market, old town, transport to reach anywhere in the city. The breakfast has a wide variety of sweet and sahoury items, all of them quite good, though seemed to be lacking local favourite in both sweet and savory options. Specifically potato pancakes or cured salmon. We paid for a room upgrade. It was €15 a night and not really worth it, the view is obstructed by the secondary glass panels on the exterior. Additionally upon check out they tried to charge us a second time for the upgrade and accused us of lying and made us show our payment receipt. Which we thankfully kept. They insisted we still owed them €45 for something and they started asking if we took something from the mini bar or their private transit. Extremely unprofessional. The coffee throughout the establishment is terrible, from the service counter in front, to the breakfast and finally the cheap instant coffee in the room. The majority of the spa was closed. Also no services are included in the room, so it's not a spa hotel, but rather a hotel with a spa inside of it. The toiletries, and towels are also poor quality. Latvia has lovely local brands, they had something else and not even separate shampoo just a 3 in one product. Their towels are so thin you can almost see through them. It screams cheap. Book for the location. Everything else is subpar.

The hotel is in a perfect location, close to the centre and bus station and on the river with nice views. It’s a modern hotel, very clean and smart. Superb spa facilities and great prices. Staff are very polite and helpful. Room is very clean, comfortable and well equipped.

Our room ws spcious, clean, comfortable, and well organised. We thoroughly enjoyed using the Aqua Thermal Spa which has an excellent Massage Pool. The staff were polite and informative, and we were ideally located at the Wellton Riverside to explore Old Riga. Highly recommended!

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. When I had a flight cancellation, they were very understanding and acknowledged that I could check in the next day. The breakfast was very good and has a much better variety than most hotel breakfast options. The spa was delightful and a trip there with my friend for her 30th was worth it. Will be staying again!

Great location near transport links and old town. Lovely breakfast and spa

Good hotel and within walking distance to many attractions. If you like EDM music, there is Poseidon music venue within 4min walk. The only ding for hotel is on the 6th floor of room, the water pressure is sporadic. On the second night, the hot water completely turned off in 7 minutes. For the next few nights, I made sure to finish showering in under 7 minutes in case the water went off again.

Property was in an ideal location close to the old town. The airport bus stop was is located 80 metres from the hotel . Varied extensive buffet breakfast available . Rooms are well insulated from the traffic noise with nice views across the river from the riverside rooms.

The shower wasn't hot and was only ever luke warm at best. Also the shower drain was clogged and the cap wasn't secured
