Got to check in then told rooms had water damage and put us in there sister hotel which didn't serve breakfast was told I was emailed about it but no email received very disappointed

Reception staff lovely and helpful, room was spacious and clean. Lovely selection of teas / coffees biscuits in the room. However, the staff in the restaurant!!! How rude!!! The one woman who seemed to be the main woman on the night was so rude, her attitude towards us all was disgusting, and she got the order wrong after us going through it with her and her having a print out of it as we had to pre book

We checked in easily and quickly with no hassle , took our overnight bags to room then vacated back down to bar which was lively due to entertainment by really good live band. We were hoping to have an evening meal their but this wasn’t available on a Sunday after the dinner time carvery was completed which was a little disappointing as had to find a local Restaurant we could book in at. Room was clean and bed quite comfy though room could soon require an update / modernisation, shower was lovely but nowhere to hang towels no hooks or rails which was unusual so where do you hang wet towels ? I had to go down to reception to request towels as none were in our room I think just an oversight of the cleaning staff , we were soon given a set so no real issue. Goodnights sleep with little noise and a good breakfast selection which I thought was outstanding as included in our room price which was really good . Plenty of free car parking to front and rear of property all nicely lit in evening, I will definitely stay here again as real value for money SEE YOU AGSIN SOON.

There was a strong disinfectant odour when I first arrived in the room. Once I'd opened the windows and ventilated the room it came down to an acceptable level

Our double room consisted of two beds pushed together. The zip zipping them together was broken so they kept drifting apart. There was no mattress protector. The bathroom was tatty with sealant missing and a door that was visibly damaged, the whole place looked tired. Breakfast was adequate,

Really nice check in and bar staff, room was nice and modern, quiet as we were far from the bar/wedding receptions.
