The complimentary breakfast was the best I’ve had anywhere. Not just cereal or whatever—a full Irish or American breakfast. It was such a good start to our days traveling in a budget. The staff were so helpful and friendly. They really go above and beyond to provide good service. The rooms are clean and well maintained. They aren’t kidding when they say it can be noisy, especially on weekends, but it didn't bother us. After a long day out, we fell right to sleep.

Very convenient location and great breakfast. A bit noisy with the bar downstairs, but the room was great and as expected.

Loved the idea of staying above a pub. The sound of the music did not bother me when trying to sleep while the pub was open on the night we went to bed earlier. The only downfall was the door from the pub to the stairs to the rooms. At 6:30 AM staff and/or guest were constantly coming through the door that would slam loudly and keep you up. It was fun to stay here and easy walk to room after a night out.

If you want to get a good nights sleep, don’t book here. Live music till 1 Am directly below your room.

When you arrive, it is an old pub and you wonder what the rooms will be like, but the room was modern, clean and comfortable. Pleasant surprise. You are right on the street, so some noise at night but I loved listening to the music.

The included breakfast was amazing, making the stay worth every penny. There was live music at the bar every night we stayed, which got loud and went very late into the night but we didn't mind, as we stayed up late each night anyway. I would recommend this stay for anyone wanting to get an authentic Irish experience for their vacation all-around.

Great location clean and modern rooms

Great place to stay. Everything was clean and orderly. The staff extremely helpful and friendly. The room seemed small when we walked in, but after staying a few days we realized it was fine for two old ladies who don't know the meaning of packing light. The bathroom was large and had a heated towel rack. The only downside was the shower, there was no place other than the floor to set your shampoo/conditioner/body wash/ect. There is no elevator so you do have to carry your bags upstairs, but stairs were doable for a 71 year old lady carrying her bag. Breakfast was good with cereals, breads, fruits, yogurt, apple & orange juice set out to help yourself. They have a small breakfast menu that they cook to order for you, from a full Irish breakfast to just eggs. Everything tasted great and was cooked correctly. They also serve lunch & dinner, but we did not try it but it smelled wonderful. Every night they had live music and was busy (not so much that you couldn't find a place to sit) for our Monday to Thursday stay. They have two bar areas and an outside smoking area that is covered, has tables/chairs and a restroom. The location was great to walk around day & night. Plenty of shops, restaurants, pubs to explore. Parking is 100 yards or so away and cost 1 euro per hour (meters take coin or card) during the day, free in the evenings/nights, and Sundays, as of April 2026.

Room could use some updates and was loud from bar and street. Breakfast in the morning was limited but good.

Excellent stay, wonderful staff and facility. Convenient location. Be aware that the internet signal is somewhat spotty if you need to rely on it for work, but I am more than happy with my stay and am happy to recommend.

Great place to stay. Food was very good.

La chambre, même si elle était plutôt petite, était très propre. Le personnel était très courtois et aidant. Bien localisé, dans le centre-ville de Killarney.

Breakfast was very good! Heater in room would not shut off. Got up to 25 c. Shower would drain well. Told staff about it after our first night. Solution was to leave the window open.
