The overall house was clean and there were ample amenities. The owner was pleasant and greeted the guest, explaining the facilities adequately however, there were a number of issues: There were no towels provided (contrary to what was stated on the booking), there was no breakfast provided (contrary to what was stated on the booking), the free wi-fi was unusable and there were mouldy banana's in the cupboard! Not great sadly.

According to my son and his mate who had travelled from Oxfordshire for a football match the accommodation was everything that was described. The host was super friendly and even took the boys into Grimsby the next morning after my son had lost his car keys at the match 😩

A one night stay and I only need somewhere to sleep. A nice comfortable room, coffee making is available, a comfortable bed and a very good price.

This property is a family property and as such it’s a bed and breakfast. My host showed me to my room and explained everything. No complaints whatsoever. I would willingly stay here again. Thanks.

The Prelude B&B was a lovely place to stay in a lovely location, the room was clean tidy and comfortable. I had a great nights sleep when I stayed for 2 days and nights. The owner was very helpful and was on hand if I needed anything. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

Lovely place to stay. Joanne is nice lady friendly

The family room was a good size and had a sitting area at one end. HOWEVER the roof slopes on both sides for the entire length of the room. This means you can only stand up in 20% of the room, the middle bit. On our one night stay I banged my head 5 times, I’m 5’11”. It’s also a pain carrying all the breakfast stuff upstairs from the dining area, but I’m guessing this is a COVID-19 rule.

Lovely one night stay. Arrived a bit late in the evening but wasn't a problem: warm greeting and shown to my room and facilities. Some nice touches, including home-made shortbread. Very clean, very comfortable. Highly recommended
