This is a more modern "luxury" property for Yufuin that I think is trying to model after properties such as Aman resorts. It's more reasonably priced if you book the property while you are in Japan but booking from anywhere else around the world it's a bit overpriced. The staff is nice and helpful, the property is new, nicely maintained and clean, but the dining is NOT WORTH THE PRICE. I would not recommend eating on site and while the price tag and photo make you expect more from the meal, you may be extremely disappointed if you have dined in similar level of resort in other parts of Japan. This makes it a bit of a conundrum as the town is quite remote and not easily navigated after dark, if you are staying here arranging to have dinner elsewhere may simply be impractical.

The stay was more than perfect.

Waranino is heaven on earth. Unlike traditional ryokan, this is utterly modern and beautifully set in a wooded glen. The staff are so welcoming and helpful. Someone is always there the moment you need anything. The breakfasts and dinners magnificent! Not only delicious but also plated with the eye in mind on pottery unique to the area. All in all a terrific get away spot

Stayed here for two nights, Nov 10 & 11. The property was so nice. The room was really big, clean, and comfortable. Very private. The service was excellent! The staff were all so nice. We are from Hawai’i and have been to many different onsens in Yufuin, Kinosaki, Gero, Arima, Kusatsu, Ikaho, Hakone, Nikko, and Beppu, but Sanso Warabino is the best! Service is second to none! Will return again and will recommend to our family and friends. Loved it!

갈때마다 만족스러운 숙소입니다 세월의 흔적이 느껴지지 않는 깔끔한 시설 관리 늘 변치않는 직원들의 친절함과 섬세함 그리고 서비스까지.. 특히나 한국어를 항수 있는 직원이 늘 함께해서 안심되었고 다른 직원분들도 영어 의사소통에 문제 없어서 일본어를 몰라도 겁낼 필요가 없는 곳입니다 또 방문 예정입니다

편안히 잘 쉬다왔네요 친절히 픽업해주셨고 다음날 유후인역에 데려다줬습니다 조식 맛나요. 수질이 넘 부드럽고 시설도 좋았습니다.

3번째 방문입니다. 부모님까지 합하면 5번째 늘 잘쉬고 잘먹다 갑니다.

새롭게 리모델링이 되어서 일본 전통 가옥의 료칸는 다른 색다른 경험이었다. 실내외 인테리어와 소품들이 매우 좋았으며, 료칸 내부를 산책할때 아주 조용 하고 평온했다. 식사는 요란하지 않으며 아주 정결하게 맛있고 만족 스러웠다. 온천 대욕장이 없었으나 객실내 실내외 온천에서도 충분히 노천같은 개방감을 느낄수 있으며 충분히 만족하며 이용할만 하다. 예약이 다소 힘들고 숙박비가 다소 높은편이나 한번쯤은 꼭 들릴만한 숙소라고 생걱된다

食事も施設も接客もすべて素晴らしく、是非また行きたいとおもいます。

安い宿ではないので、もう少し高級なティッシュをおいてほしい。 冷蔵庫の飲み物はフリーだか、水がすくなすぎる

세가족 모두 보이는, 보이지 않는 구석구석의 세련됨과 친절함, 배려에 매우 감동하고 갑니다. 서비스도, 룸컨디션도, 식사도 정말 좋았어요. 화려하기만하고 막상 먹어보면 만족스럽지않은 가이세키도 많은데, 좋은 재료로 최고의 맛을 끌어내어 정제된 프레젠테이션으로 대접받는 기분이 매우 훌륭했습니다. 이번 겨울에 또 들를 예정입니다.
