I recently stayed at Grand Hyatt Singapore. The room was comfortable, the breakfast spread was good, and most of the hotel staff were friendly, making the stay enjoyable overall. However, the check-in experience was disappointing. The front desk staff, Cindy, took a long time to locate our booking and seemed unfriendly throughout the process. I also inquired about a complimentary birthday cake, but her response was not very welcoming, even though I had submitted the request earlier through the app. Also, she appeared visibly upset when speaking with us. That said, the hotel did eventually send a small complimentary cake to our room, which we appreciated. While the room, breakfast, and overall service from other staff were positive, the check-in experience could be improved.
