The hotel room facilities seemed old and haphazard for a resort. The room didn't smell fresh; there was a hint of cigarette smoke, possibly from previous guests smoking on the terrace, and the smoke drifted into the room. The staff wasn't very helpful, even though guests were confused. Breakfast was mediocre. There were a lot of guests, but only rice porridge and meatballs were served. The pool attendant was also unfriendly. He was rude when reprimanding a child who jumped into the pool. Several guests checked out before 11 a.m. They seemed dissatisfied, including us. Overall, it felt like a budget hotel.

The receptionist was very nice, allowing for early check-in, but we got a villa on the upper level, with nothing to see except trees and a long way to the pool and beach. Most of the rules, especially for the pool, prioritize international guests. Breakfast was mediocre, not much choice, and refills were slow, so many were sold out.

Overall, it's good, but the friendliness of the staff is lacking. While typical native culture is unavoidable in this nation, those of you working in tourism should at least learn a lot about hospitality toward all guests, regardless of whether they're foreign or domestic. Remember that local people are also guests and should be respected; in fact, they should be treated as special guests because they live in this country. Slowly, let's eliminate this native culture so we don't continue to colonize. Thanks.
