I had a pleasant stay at Alpha Inn Medan. The hotel is simple but comfortable, suitable for short stays and budget travelers. The rooms are okay and the location is convenient, close to restaurants, shopping areas and interesting places. The staff was helpful and overall, my stay was good. For the price, it is really worth it and suitable for anyone looking for a budget hotel in Medan. Thank you, Alpha Inn, for the comfortable stay. Cleanliness needs to be improved.

It's very hot, the AC isn't cold. Please help upgrade the facilities, sis.

If you go to the city center, it is close to access, but the room is not suitable for that price, the room is small, there is no wardrobe, one towel, there is no bed in the bedroom, the air conditioner is old and not very cold, not suitable for the price.

The hotel was clean, quiet, and small, but okay. Toothpaste and toothbrushes were readily available, and the water was safe.

Helpful staff and clean rooms

Friendly staff, very small room size, a bit noisy, strategic location, breakfast tastes ordinary and lacks variety, shampoo and body wash are only provided for 1 person even though there are two of us, one towel is also provided but luckily I asked for another one. If you stay for 1 night it's okay but for several nights it's not recommended because the room size is very small etc. For a very strategic location close to everywhere, good service.

The room was a bit dark, and the spring bed made a noisy creaking noise. However, the hotel's location is excellent.

One of the lights in the room was out, and the food tasted awful. The fried rice was stale.

Strategic and close to everywhere.

The room smells bad. It looks like it came from the floor that did not dry properly after it was cleaned because the room didn’t get enough sunlight and ventilation.

According to the price, if you have a bigger budget, it's better to find something that fits. You get what you pay for, and you get what you pay for.

The hotel staff is friendly and kind. The hotel is clean.

When Medan was plunged into darkness due to a power outage, we decided to stay at this hotel because it was close to home but unexpectedly the hotel's lights went out too. The AC wasn't working properly plus the lights went out again with the excuse that the generator was too hot. Finally, we protested for a refund and it was approved but the refund wasn't full from 485 thousand rupiah, only 450 thousand rupiah. The mattress was incredibly dirty with red spots everywhere, don't stay here again even if there is no choice, it's better to just stay at home even though it's dark without electricity. It's really traumatic.

The receptionist named Heri was very lacking in language and speaking, I almost left without staying, the towel given was only 1, and even then there could be long hair that might be a woman's hair, there was no bathroom mat, like a room that was rented by the hour, the condition of the items including the bed sheets.

300 thousand for 3 stars but quality like that who gives stars with standardization? Everything is dirty, the toilet door is almost falling off, the toilet is old, the TV is old, the water is questionable because my body itches after showering, the shower is stuck to the wall, the pillow is hard, the mattress is hard, there is no telephone in the room, 1 socket and that is really dirty, 1 towel, the room smells, the food is only fried rice and vermicelli, the bread seems to be expired, I hesitate to eat fruit and cucumber, it seems unhygienic, the receptionist and security guard don't smile, the elevator is also stuck.
