It turned out that the ticket I bought for the Alhambra was a scam. I mentioned this to Paula Peña, Guest Experience Manager, and incredibly she was able to secure a Granada Card which included entry to the Alhambra for the next day. I can’t thank her enough for saving my trip. The hotel is well staffed and they are excellent at what they do.

Lovely large rooms, excellent facilities, great staff great location

Conveniently located, clean room, helpful staff, nice breakfast buffet. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Barcelo Carmen Granada Hotel.

Breakfast was excellent. My biggest concern is that even though we were there for four nights we were only given 6 pieces of tissue. When I asked for for more we were told we would have to pay for them. Seemed pretty crazy!!

Perfect for the 1 night I was staying

Yes everything was amazing

Great place well located and quiet. One thing to be aware of is during Holy Week it gets CRAZY. We had to wait out the procession that came by the front of the hotel for an hour. A few glasses ow wine later we we back inside the hotel.

Great atmosphere and clean

We travelled by bus with just a short walk with our cases. The hotel frontage is quite small. The welcome was good with a map supplied but no recommendations. Our room was spacious with a well equipped shower room. We had a kettle, fridge and free safe, Breakfast was one of the best we have experienced with so much choice and very good service. The hotel is well located and about 25 minutes walk from the Alhambra. We would be pleased to stay here again.

Amazing hotel. Unpretentious yet great in everything it offers - from its physical appearance, bright and clean bedrooms and bathrooms, location, the main floor reception hallway, the restaurants, and the attitude of the staff. Will definitely stay at this hotel again, and recommend it to my friends and family.

Great location, walking distance lots of places

Breakfast was excellent and had unusual items like vegetables which I have a hard time getting when I travel. It was clean and quiet except for guests who couldn’t keep their voice down in the hall. My only negative was I could not find a thermostat to turn on a fan or get a little Air circulating. I could open a window which helped.
