Overall, my stay at Solar de Mós was very good. I did not give it a 5 star as there was no restaurant on site even though the description said so. The hotel orders dinner from a local restaurant and you place your reservation by midday, the day before I think. Also, the local beach is quite a walk, certainly more than 15 minutes. My mom and I used Uber to get to the beach and go into old town. I would describe the suite as a mixture of traditional with some elements of contemporary. Overall, a small suite with old world charm. The balcony is nice. The bed and pillows were amazing for a side sleeper! Also, it was quaint that they had an iron but no ironing board! My mom and I had to use the bed as an ironing board. Furthermore the staff were all friendly. The breakfast was slightly above average in quality. Plenty options to choose from. Overall, I recommend this hotel if you do not mind there is no on-site restaurant and it is in a residential area and may be a 25 minute walk from Old Town. I did visit one of the local restaurants and it was quite good although service was slow.

Only 1 mile to the beach. Nice clean and comfortable. Great and helpful staff not to mention the breakfast. Will be back.

So happy to have stayed here. We even extended our stay 1 more night since we loved the area and the hotel was incredibly relaxing. The staff is so nice and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and it’s just BEAUTIFUL. Don’t hesitate to book here. Even the breakfast was delicious

Solar de Mos was a peaceful retreat that’s close to the old city and surrounding beaches. The grounds are lovely and the pool refreshing and clean. The rooms were cleaned daily and the staff are super helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel and hope to return soon.

Checkin was delayed due to late flight and the front desk was very welcoming and understanding. Breakfast was great for getting the day started, and the rooms were clean. The balcony was nice, my only regret is we didn’t have more time to enjoy to balcony, pool, and jacuzzi. We will return!

It was quiet due to the distance from city center. Nice casual dining area within 5 min. walk but limited choices. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good with good selection.

Great hotel in a quiet area close to the historic center but in a quieter area. Rooms nice, large, with a patio overlooking the pool. Nice buffet breakfast included would stay there again.

The hotel is small, well maintained and in a quiet part of Lagos. Owners are personable and truly interested in making their guest happy. Wish we could have stayed there longer

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is 15 minutes walk to the old town and it's all down hill. while we walked the return journey we took a taxi the second day for a cost of less than €5. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful. The breakfast was very good with a lot of choice. I would definitely stay in this hotel again. If you have a car the parking is excellent and safe. The location is also excellent, close enough to the town to enjoy and far enough away to be quite and peaceful.
