The hotel is excellent, friendly staff. Literally located underneath the castles on the hill. I believe during the summer it must amazing. The weather was pouring rain. We couldn't see the castle from inside. Apart from that everything was perfect.

Beautiful room, view and staff. Great view of the wall. Great breakfast. Walking distance to great dining. Especially at the Conquestador...enjoyed it very much

Well located friendly hotel outside citadel but close to ramparts. Welcome from Manager was a real highlight after long journey. Breakfast good although again I am puzzled about the total absence of milk (for tea) in room and lack of tea spoons at breakfast.

We had been to Óbidos previously but thought we would try something new. In general, with a little updating, this place would be fine. Despite asking for quiet rooms in advance, we were assigned to rooms ( numbers 117-121) less than 10 feet from a very busy road. We had a bonding reservation so could not walk away. Each of these rooms is very dark (a window would open onto the road but was sealed by an.opaque door) and uninviting.

Great location right at the entrance to the castle. Noise in corridors is heard well in the room.

The only problem was that the air condition stopped working during the middle of the night and the room was hot. The next day they fixed it for us.

Room and facilities are outdated, service is fine.

Great location, right next to entrance to walled city. The rooms are no fuss and good price point. Our room smelled like the toilet had backed up and the AC did not work well.

Amazing property in an amazing location. Beautiful room and bathroom. Appears to be newly renovated, all fresh and new. Outstanding breakfast very reasonably priced. The only negative is parking on premises is inadequate, but available nearby. Wonderful location at entrance of the walled city.

Our 2 night stay was very nice. We had one problem with the sink in the bathroom that was promptly fixed. The location next to the entrance to the Old Town was great: a 2 minute walk. The staff were great too. Unexpectedly, we were there for the big Chocolate Festival and parking was almost non-existent. The woman at the check in desk made sure that we were able to park in her parking space when she went off duty. We were given a great recommendation for a place to eat for a small dinner meal that was a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The breakfast onsite as wonderful and well worth the cost.

Literally just a few steps from the main entrance of the wall. Very clean and comfortable and a great breakfast. Would stay again for sure

The place was easy to find. Close to old town.

Good choice. Very near the old city. No hotel restaurant at night but they indicate a small one very close, sympatic and good.

I like that it was close to the castle and the wall. The atmosphere of the place was wonderful. There were lots of options for breakfast. The food tasted great. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to help you. My room had a balcony which had a view of the Castle wall which is what I wanted. I could look out the balcony and take pictures. Great location.

The staff at the hotel were so pleasant and helpful, the rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. We were a short walk to the town center. Highly recommend.
