We really liked this hotel. The beds are super comfortable and the spa area with multiple Jacuzzis and swimming pools is incredible. Our refrigerator was not working when we arrived so they replaced it, but the new one didn’t get cold soon enough for my leftovers to not expire. That was frustrating. Otherwise though the employees are very helpful and friendly. We would stay here again.

We stayed at Hotel Sinaia for 2 nights. The place is clean and staff is friendly. The breakfast must be the best I've ever seen and had at a hotel - plenty of choices, vegan included, and abundance (see pictures I'm including here). The shower faucet worked well but looked like it was installed by kids - and the glass protection of the bathtub was not folding properly so water was leaking on the floor while showering (see photo). The wifi did not work in the room, we had to go outside in the hallway to use the phone - when I spoke to the reception desk about it, they proposed to change the room for us instead of checking wifi connection (problematic). The TV had film channels options on the screen (Netflix, Prime, Disney etc) which didn't work - again, when I mentioned it to the reception desk, a bewildered staff said those are options that come with the TV set but the subscriptions are not paid by the hotel, so the channels are unavailable. The pool is small and constantly crowded - it is free from 9 am to 6 pm and then one must pay for access between 6 - 8 pm, the reason I was given being that "it's a popular time and the pool has limited capacity" (never heard of this type of approach before). One of the two existent dry saunas didn't work, so the other sauna is very busy. No lockers in the spa area, guests need to change into swimsuits in their room and come down dressed in their bathrobes and slippers, by elevator and pass through hotel lobby (awkward & uncomfortable)

Great hotel, very centrally located within Sinaia. We could walk straight outside to restaurants and the gondola lift.

Great location, clean room and good food. The staff can be more friendly and also more informe about local stuff. I asked few times about the Gondola rides, because of the weather and don´t have any idea, at least they can check the website in case someone asked. Among that, the hotel is very good!!

Great Breakfast Nice clean rooms Pool side was very uncomfortable and small, between 4-6pm is only families and the require an appointment for less crowding but it seems at 4-6 everyone is there with children. Everyone is rude and unhappy in this town. The massage was amazing that is all. Not worth the money

I booked the "Standard Twin Room Without Balcony". When we checked in, we were given a room that looked quite old and not on par with what the hotel advertises -- it looked nothing like the photo they have in the listing. The carpet was stained in multiple places, the bathroom had no ventilation, old bathtub and overall "old" feeling. We were charged extra to be moved to the newly renovated side of the hotel which is in good shape and does look like advertised. That wasn't nice at all. The spa is nice, and the breakfast buffet has a variety of foods, desserts and drinks. The overall experience was good, but the bait and switch part was not.

We liked hotel location, however the 1st night we had a view over the back /trash area. Noisy early morning + bathroom functionality/shower was bad. 2nd night we asked to be moved so we had a view of the street with a balcony. Bathroom was better as well. Over all, 2nd night was better, however the inconvenience of packing and morning to a different room was not addressed by the staff. We would have liked for them to offer asap another room when we addressed the circumstances or better yet for them to consider we came a long way from California, so they could have given us one of their new renovated rooms. So, yes it was an inconvenience from the start that was not addressed or compensate for. Unfortunately! This was our 2nd time starting at hotel Sinaia, however we may consider other options next visit to Romania. Thank you.

Great hotel, also went to the pool which was a little small, and relaxed in the sauna for a bit. The food at the restaurant was great, we had breakfast, lunch and dinner there and everything was very good. The hotel is family friendly and my very young daughter had a blast.
