I arrived at around 4pm for a 2pm checkin, our room was not ready. We were with family who had booked the same type of room. They received the last room that was ready. We were told ours would take another 30mins to prep. They did offer to comp us refreshments in the restaurant while we waited. We went to our family’s room first to leave our luggage. Nice renovated room with modern bathroom, individual airconditioner, fridge. Afterwards we did go to restaurant for a tea and juice. Once our room was ready (longer than 30 mins), we gots our things and went to our room. I was disappointed that it was nothing like the other room we’d seen. It was a triple (single beds) instead of two beds or king, looked old and worn(not renovated);fabric headboards were peeling away and bathrooms dated. Worst part was that the ac (not a unit in room but central air thru hotel) was not working well and given the hot weather we were having; made staying in the room unbearable. Not happy I was not given a superior room as ordered and a much lesser one at that. When I asked to move to another room, I was told there were no other rooms available that night and I would have to wait til the next morning (around 11am). I was only in town for 2 nights and had already wasted time waiting for a room that was unacceptable to me. I ended up leaving that night to move to another hotel where I could sleep in comfort and enjoy the rest of my short stay. I say if you take a reservation then honor it.

I wouldn’t stay at Aqua old smelly mould it shouldn’t be open to guests it was so bad

The room was very noisy

Room was small but we knew it and did not want to spend unnecessarily. Overall, the price was good considering this was, after all, Punta del Este and the hotel was very well located, the breakfast was excellent, the staff friendly, the room clean. Only the single beds were rather narrow (a mistake by the agency got us 2 single rather than 1 matrimonial bed. But otherwise, a hotel I would recommend to anyone.

Café da manhã muito bom, excelente localização, quarto bom, com varanda, porém o controle do ar quente/frio NÃO fica no apto.

Muy placentera la estadía, el hotel está muy bien ubicado, y el desayuno es muy completo

Viajamos em família, hotel aconchegante, ótimo

Hotel com excelente localização, com farmácia e mercadinho ao lado e próximo aos principais pontos turísticos e restaurantes. Conseguimos fazer muita coisa a pé. O quarto é amplo, apesar de ter uma estrutura antiga, é reformado e tudo muito limpo. Para os períodos de frio, o quarto possui um conforto térmico excelente.
