We had a wonderful stay at FCC Angkor by Avani and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Siem Reap, especially families. The hotel is beautifully designed — a tasteful boutique property with elegant rooms, lovely decor, and a very peaceful atmosphere. Everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The location is perfect: right along the river, walking distance to the Royal Gardens and close to Pub Street, while also being very convenient for Angkor Wat sunrise tours. One of the things we loved most was the hospitality. Every staff member was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, and they made traveling with our 5-year-old very comfortable. The hotel is also very family-friendly, with a kids club and swimming pool life jackets available for children, which gave us extra peace of mind. The food quality was exceptional throughout our stay, and the spa experience was absolutely lovely after long sightseeing days. The hotel also adds thoughtful cultural touches that make the stay feel special — we especially enjoyed the traditional Apsara dance performance on Saturday evening and the gin tasting session on Friday night. Overall, FCC Angkor by Avani strikes the perfect balance between luxury, culture, comfort, and location. It truly added to the magic of our Cambodia trip.

Amazing hotel. We had a heritage deluxe room which opened right onto the pool from our patio. The room was wonderful and so much space and the bed was so comfortable. Everything was kept so clean and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. This hotel is truly a treasure with so many little attention to detail that make you feel you have gone back in time! The only hotel we would stay in when returning to Angkor.

I stayed here for two nights while visiting Angkor Wat. The Heritage Wing where I stayed is comprised of a small number of mid-century whitewashed blocks built around a beautifully restored French Governor's mansion dating from 1917. I was upgraded on arrival to a ground floor Pool Courtyard room. Stylishly furnished in a mid-century Franco-Khmer style, the spotlessly clean room opened onto a private terrace with direct garden and pool access. Staff throughout the hotel were amazing and both the a la carte breakfast in The Mansion and the bar food at Scribe were superb. Highly recommended.

Great restaurant on site, and the staff were very helpful. Good menu, lots of variety and amazing salads. The Hotel is perfectly located in the center of Siem Reap easy access to transportation, good restaurants, activities. I would highly recommend staying here when in Siem Reap.

The amenities like coffee and tea were nice.

The place is beautiful! Elegant, stylish rooms, spotlessly clean. The food was wonderful & the staff cannot do enough for you. They even noted my husbands birthday from his passport during our stay & presented him with a cake, which was a lovely surprise. So many lovely touches at this place, I was sad to leave.

Wonderful boutique hotel in a great location. The facilities were pristine and the staff amazing. They arranged our sunrise tour to Angkor Wat with a fantastic guide and til til driver. Great food and open-aired bar with live music. This is a gem!

I had a wonderful stay at FCC Angkor. The staff was beyond friendly and accommodating. Don’t miss the spa, I had one of the best massage ever. Lastly, the hotel bar is one of the most happening place in the city. Relax with wonderful drink after a long day of touring.

Lovely property, nicely styled and well looked after gardens and social areas. Super breakfast, possibly the best western breakfast I had in SE Asia (tasty sausages), the Asian options were tasty also, with lots of options. Rooms spacious with nice touches, a nice thoughtful welcome pack and nightly treats. Tea and coffee in the room were also unique and quality. Only feedback, would liked some personal outside space, however there was plenty around the property. Ps Good sized pool across the road allowing a proper distance swim, unusual for a city centre hotel. Only negative, we had an issue with AC, which they fixed immediately- apparently they need to clean the filters, which could be done proactively?

While this hotel has a 5-star rating, it felt more like a 4-star experience. The breakfast buffet was very good, a definite highlight of our stay. However, we were disappointed that the in-room safe was not secured to the furniture, which felt like a lapse in security. Additionally, in our room, the shower-tub setup was quite challenging to navigate. For anyone with mobility issues or older guests, this could pose a significant problem. If you’re considering a stay, make sure to inquire about the bathroom setup in advance.
