Parking and the monastery were very convenient. The hotel offered a free upgrade to a room with a balcony hot tub. The air conditioner worked great. The only downside was that we were there on a Monday so many shops and restaurants were not open.

The location can’t be beat. We had a view of the monastery out our window. The staff was super helpful when our rental car had a flat. And, breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant were top notch. We’ll definitely stay there again!

The staff is very welcoming and helpful. We slept great and having breakfast next to the monastery was incredible.

This property was a dream, very clean room and friendly staff. We had a perfect view of the monastery. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and the food was excellent. It was a perfect stop in our Portugal road trip. Will definitely stay here again.

Our second trip and we like the monastery view rooms very much. Our bathroom smelled slightly of sewage, a common problem, but the one thing that makes this not a 5 star review. Restaurant is very good for dinner and breakfast completely adequate..

The property is right next to the Basillica and the view from the restaurant amazing. The breakfast and dinner was good with a nice selection. Shops in walking distance. We would stay here again.

As always, this place is amazing. It’s located near the Monastery, super clean, and the staff are incredible. Rui is always a delight, but the entire team is remarkable. The breakfast is delicious.

Lovely hotel right next to the monastery. Really enjoyed our stay, and it was a great location for seein some of the historic and religious sights in central Portugal. Staff were excellent!

Receptionists were very friendly and helpful and made our stay perfect. When we asked they even found us a desirable tea kettle! Breakfast was also superb! Location cannot be better. We really enjoyed the stay there :o)

Easy to park in spaces allocated to guests, Staff members were polite and professional. Breakfast was lovely with eggs, mushrooms, croissants, fruit jam, varieties of coffee, fresh juice, and more. Bathroom modern. Everything very clean. Thanks for a great stay!

Excellent property, location, staff and value

The staff was very helpful throughout the three night stay. There was something magical to be right next to the magnificent Batalha Monastery.
