An outstanding well-located boutique hotel with superb service. If you have a stay in Tartu then this place is highly recommended. Many of the museums and parks are nearby, as well as restaurants, bars and cafes. Our room was large and airy with a view towards the historuc main building of Tartu University.

Antonius is truly remarkable and very unique for Tartu. The decorations remind one those more of a castle or manor rather than a hotel. The suite is spacious, beautifully furnished, very comfortable and relaxing. Breakfast is served as a mix of buffet and à la carte. By far my favourite hotel in Tartu!

Though it's less than 20 years old as a hotel, it has the feel and facilities of the early 20th century.

Beautiful historic building, excellent location.

AVOID this hotel. We paid for a suite however got a small room with dirty carpet and old mattres!!! They refused to change room after we discovered bed bugs had bit us. Breakfast has nothing at all some dry things.. At the end we did not go there since it was so bad.. A Rude woman in reception without any education or customer service skills. The hotel has gone down and stall be avoided at all costs.

Hotel Antonius is in Tartu’s very much older part of town, right across the street from one of the university’s main buildings, which houses the university’s art gallery…..and it’s worth a visit. The hotel is excellent. Outstanding staff at every level of guest interaction. An excellent restaurant and the hotel’s breakfast is everything you could ask for.
