Hotel is superbly located to easily visit the cultural highlights of the city whilst at the same time being within walking distance of most of the other places of interest. The staff were extremely friendly and effective. If I was to return to Almeria, I would stay again.

We were amazed buy the warm welcome of the nice young lady with long brow hair at the reception. She was super helpfull. We really recommend this hotel.

Staff on reception gave us an excellent welcome, and were lovely throughout, always saying hello and asking how we could be helped. The room was clean but in the decor it was dated. Our wardrobe mirror door had a big crack that was gaffer taped up. There were no electric plugs by the bed and the carpet was very old. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was very good, although clearly a bath had been removed to make a large shower, as the bath taps were still in the wall feeding the shower. Actually a very clever cost cutting idea! We were give a choice of room on the inside outside of the building. Wanting fresh air we said outside. Now what we gained in air we lost in outside noise from the bar below. But that was fine. Lots of storage. Breakfast had a decent choice of offerings. Coffee was ok. Breakfast staff were nice too. Hotel position is perfect for the old town and it feels as if the new chain running it is only trying to improve things further. It is VERY clean. Recommended.

Hotel was spotless and staff very friendly.located in good area close to shops ,bars and cafes.Maybe having a kettle in the rooms would be nice but overall can’t fault this hotel.

Welcoming staff, great location and very clean. Everything easily accesible from hotel. Staff speak fluent english which was a great help for me.

This hotel is in an excellent location in the old town of Almería and is a great base for exploring the city. The reception staff were friendly and efficient on arrival, which gave a very positive first impression. Parking was unfortunately not available at the hotel, but we were able to use a nearby Telpark car park just a short walk away. The cleanliness of the hotel was excellent. However, the room itself felt a little dated, particularly due to the lack of electrical outlets. There were three light switches by the bedside but no socket or USB outlet to charge a phone, which seems like a small but important detail in modern rooms. Although there was an AC panel in the room, the hotel appeared to have limited it remotely to heat or fan only. As a result, the room felt quite warm compared to the corridors and shared areas, making it difficult to get a comfortable sleeping temperature. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and we both slept well despite the room being too warm for the duvet. Breakfast was adequate but nothing special. The scrambled eggs appeared to have been prepared early and left in a heated container, making them quite dry. I would recommend saving the €10 per person and walking five minutes to a nearby café for a fresh Spanish desayuno instead.

Great location. In the middle of the old historic area of town. A short walk to a beautiful beach. Plenty of great restaurants, shopping, and bars within walking distance. The room is basic but comfortable.

Great hotel overall but be mindful it’s in the historic district hence near restaurants and bars that can be a bit noisy if you’re going to bed early….

They could put in a coffee machine and kettle.

The hotel was excellent, as were the staff. The parking garage was accessed via a very small/tight lift! We managed not to scrape the car though! Found a very nice restaurant nearby down and aliey.

Hotel Crisol is central for shopping, and close/convenient for supermarkets, and yet close enough for port, promenade and beaches. Inside it's clean and modern. A great stay.
