This hotel is ok. I’d say it’s a three-star at best. Our room had visible water damage on the wall near one of the windows where the plaster was actually crumbling. They never should be having guests in such a room. The breakfast was ok, but nothing special. The staff were polite but not overly friendly. The bathroom was ABSURDLY small. The minibar fridge was off kilter. The neighborhood has definitely seen better days and has gone downhill in recent years. The charge from bringing a pet was WAY too high. I think you can definitely do far better in Belo. I definitely would NOT stay here again.

The Staff at This Hotel were so friendly and Helpful, The rooms were spacious, clean and well maintained , the location was Perfect, close to city center and Attractions, the Breakfast was delicious and had a great variety of options. Will Definitely Stay Here Again.

Great location, Front desk staff is extremely efficient, pleasant and helpful. Very good breakfast. Property very clean; but old and in need of renovation. I would stay at this hotel again.

My stay was fantastic. The room was nice and had everything I needed (including reliable wifi and wonderful water pressure in the shower). The location is great, close to everything! The staff was also super helpful and nice. Xanti and Gabriela went above and beyond. Will definitely return to the Royal Golden.

Very good service.

The male receptionist who is at the front desk during the mornings and afternoon should be smarter and treat the guests right, not being sarcastic, he made me feel very uncomfortable also no sympathy at all, not even a single good morning to the guests who are getting into the hotel, not only with me and my partner, I could notice that it seems he is not pleased to work in a hotel.

The hotel is run down and was not clean in the hallways and elevators.The bed was good and sheets clean

Overall I loved the hotel. Really good for what you pay, but you definitely get the feeling that the staff doesn’t care a lot. I requested to pay for a late checkout and even though they had availability online in multiple channels reception insisted that there is no availability

Honest and basic option in Belo Horizonte

The hotel has friendly staff and a good breakfast. There was music outside all night long and loud traffic from 6am. The beds and pillows are uncomfortable.
