The Hotel advertised and accepted and billed my reservation for Christmas Eve of 2018. when I arrived at 9:00 PM that night, no one was there, no reception staff were on duty, and I was told very rudely in almost unintelligible and very loud profane language through an emergency intercom system that the hotel was closed.
I feel that they acted in bad faith by accepting my reservation. I am pursuing remedies from both Hotels.com (whom I contacted that night to report the issue to, and my bank for my lost money, and would never stay there again.
Thank goodness that there was an Ibis Hotel down the street that treated me kindly and put us up for the night.
