Such a beautiful location and the grounds were gorgeous! All the staff were super friendly and helpful!

Property is clean - however very overpriced for what it is. The rooms are spacious but extremely basic at best. We booked a Mountain View room - the mountain was barely visible - mostly could see the backyard space of the hotel. Breakfast is decent - fairly basic and no ala cart items. Your usual mass created scrambled eggs - not appetizing or edible. No toaster to warm the bread. No water in the room - the bar sells a small bottle of mineral water for 16.50 Euros. The overnight reception person said you should drink from the tap in the bathroom. I paid almost $400 usd for one night - and I do not want to hear that, nor did I appreciate his tone or attitude or this quality of service. The least you can do is fill up a clean carafe of tap water and have it in the room for your “guests”. Overall very disappointing for the price and I do not recommend this property.

Nice property but let down by lack of amenities. Take care when booking off season as restaurant is only open to guests on full board

This hotel should be listed as adults only since children are not welcome in most areas of the hotel. The service was uneven at best.

Absolutely wonderful! We enjoyed our stay at Villa Seilern so much. Our room was so nice and comfortable with a nice patio. The staff was so helpful with giving suggestions about what to do and where to eat in the area. And the spa was amazing! Definitely a place we would visit again!

This faculty is one of the best out there. The staff are amazing, the rooms are spacious, quiet and comfortable. The food was fantastic, my wife and I had the best possible time

Lovely place to stay. Note: it was interesting that my wife and I were some of the youngest hotel residents - and we’re in our 60’s!

The breakfast and restaurant were great. Adding a coffee machine and kettle to the room would improve the experience

The hotel and area that it is located in are beautiful. The supper meal was fantastic. The pool and spa area is magnification. The staff is very friendly.

Solo stay. Have been in bad Ischl many times but this was the first time I actually stayed there. Great location and great hotel. Really nice staff.

Wonderful views from the superior room. The front reception staff were great especially the young ma le fluent Eng lish speaker- very helpful. Breakfast buffet had excellent choices and you dine in the old villa vs the hotel is the building adjacent. To make the stay even better put a little freezer in the mini fridge to freeze water for cool water during the day and ditch the water saving device on the shower head as not much pressure. Floor needs to be mopped not vacuumed to get the dirt off. First day the spa was cold but second day the temperature had been turned up. Similar to most European hotels no top sheet but doonas (we took our own top sheet and face flannels) firm beds and non-fluffy towels. No kettle or mugs in the room but we took our own for a cuppa as you need to pay at the bar if you want a night cup of tea/coffee or when you arrive. Therefore I recommend they have a coffee/hot water machine in the lobby similar to the breakfast one so guests can make their own. 12 minute walk to station and we pushed our bags ok as no taxi at the station or Uber available.

Room is not very big, breakfast are good, sauna are good, parking 10 euro per night. close to the downtown. Balcony is big.

Trakk litt ned på renhold på rom, med skitne speil og linfrø på gulvet på doen. Ellers rent og ryddig rom. Litt harde senger for oss. Kunne hatt overmadrass.

Kurzurlaub, Wassertemperatur könnte wärmer sein !!! Sauna Bereich ab 13:00h geöffnet, wurde aber am Sonntag erst später aktiviert, entweder vergessen oder Sparmaßnahmen? Mittagssnack war gut.
