Our room was the only room without a balcony .the little window looked out onto a roof top with shingles which had a ladder set up reaching it from the ground plus the window looked into the restaurant which again had a ladder leading up to it. Horrible. The carpet was soft and spongy the room Smelt of mold and mildew. The lighting in the bathroom was lacking. I mentioned all this to the front desk where it was acknowledged but this seems like an issue for Expedia and Glen Lyon to work together on. Asked for some sort of refund. Nothing.I asked for another room but was told the hotel was sold out. make sure you don’t get room 201

This hotel was extremely disappointing. When we booked it was advertised (and still is being advertised) with an onsite pub and restaurant....a sign on the reception desk advises that both are temporarily closed but I think this is probably a long term if not complete closure. We found the lady on reception very abrupt (at the time of our check in she was training a young man) but she definitely did not have a customer friendly attitude at all. Unfortunately the room was awful, old carpets, old furniture and not a very nice smell....to be fair to the cleaners it seemed clean but our immediate thought was to check into a different hotel but the three night stay had not come cheaply so we decided to stay. The only thing going for this place is the views....we saw otters, deer and bald eagles from our balcony....thank goodness for the wildlife!!!

Beautiful view. Clean room with comfortable bedding. Dated building and old carpet in room. No restaurant facilities even though it is listed as having one.

The view! I liked being able to walk to the marina for our charter.

The restaurant was closed for renovations, so that was a disappointment. The view from the room was great. We could watch the tide coming in and going out. And lots of bald eagles. Watched the fishing boats coming and going, and the float plane. But the patio door was nearly impossible to open and close, don't know if it is off the track or what. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Room wasn't as pictured. Booked the honeymoon and the hot tub was not facing the ocean it was instead in the corner of the room. Still nice even though the hot tub had jets coming from the bottom and not the sides.

We liked the balcony and the view. The beds were very comfortable and the room was spacious and clean. There was sufficient parking. The staff were helpful and provided some recommendations for dining which were appreciated. We were surprised to learn the restaurant was under renovation but were happy with the other restaurants we found.

Great property, clean rooms, mostly renovated except for the floors and sliding doors to the balcony, friendly staff, beautiful view from each room, smells good, safe, and not expensive! Restaurant is under renovations summer 2026.

Really liked that there was a balcony and it was a good size, as well as the view of the water was amazing.

Staff was helpful and great help! Loved the ocean view with a balcony. However there is not staff on site over night and a gate is put out so the elevators are not used. Did not know until tried to leave the floor and had to find the stairs. Also the website shows a restaurant and it was opened and unsure when it plans to be open

We enjoyed our stay at the Glen Lyon. The view from Our room was spectacular! The room was a bit outdated but it had everything we needed including a jet tub ! The wraparound deck was so lovely! I appreciated the easy parking at no charge and the location is perfect. The restaurant was being renovated so I can’t comment on that. Would recommend!
