A wonderful room with a view. Not far to walk to the pier and the gondola. Plenty, if not too much, snow on the top of the mountains.

I loved everything about this hotel! The location was perfect, and the staff went above and beyond—they were friendly, helpful, and even gave me some great tips for a nearby hike. I’d gladly stay here again!

Room with amazing view to the fjord!!!

Beautiful old hotel, updated nicely for the modern traveler. Very pleased with room comfort and amenities, and the overall value for the price of this stay. One small concern: The “laundry facilities” listed as an amenity on hotels.com for this hotel is misleading. Grand Hotel does not have guest laundry on-site, and they provide only the contact info for an off-site laundry that’s a 5-min drive away.

What a view from the room! Arrived by train. Short walk back down the tracks, take bridge over tracks, turn left one block, turn right one block. Very nice room and great breakfast. Nespresso coffee machine in room. Staff were so nice. Loved it!

Restaurant had great service and food. Check in was easy and friendly and helpful

The hotel is very expensive. The shower head is plastic and it looks very cheap. The bathroom has no any facial tissue. The towel doesn’t look good.The worst is the bedding looks good, but after one night sleep, I feel very itchy. Then I found there are couple small dark red stains on the bedding. Overall, it charges as a luxury hotel but its service is like a motel or even worst.

This hotel had a good location and parking available.

Great location near the scenic Romsdal gondola and near a number of good restaurants. The area is walkable and many excursions are book able nearby. Plentiful breakfast.
