The staff were excellent lovely place to stay

It was a great location. The restaurant was very good. Our first room was a little warm and they brought us a fan. The second room had a portable air conditioner in it, which made it very comfortable. It is in the historic area and it is logical that They have limitations on what they can do. Overall, a great experience.

The roof terrace for breakfast is a great way to start the day. The staff is super friendly and helpful and you can’t beat the location.

Beautiful Property in the famous Armas courtyard. Great dining on the roof top, much to see always something going on. Next door to a grocery store and central to everywhere walkable. Staff are kind and helpful, breakfast ample & delicious. Massages affordable and amazing. My bedroom was elegant and spacious, the bathroom/ shower ample, soaps handmade and generous. Highly recommend. I'd come back if i ever have a reason.

Excelente ubicación en el corazón de Arequipa y cercana a las principales atracciones de la ciudad: museo de los Pueblos Andinos, conventos, etc. La terraza es muy bonita con diversas opciones para desayunar y cenar. El personal muy amable y hablan inglés.

Stayed at the Katari in Arequipa and could not have been a better hotel. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was lovely and clean with lots of amenities. Highly recommend this hotel is you are travelling to Arequipa.

Tow days before our check-in started demonstrations from miners fighting for rights, so they closed the highway so there was no way to get there. I called the hotel to cancel the reservation but denied it saying I had to do it through Expedia. They denied it to Expedia as well. They were well aware of the political situation and stopped answering the phone.

From the hotel staff, to the location to the ease of accommodations our trip here was wonderful! The rooftop restaurant is something extra special at sunset.

Katari was a beautiful hotel. The location couldn’t be better, right on the plaza. I was also pleasantly surprised at how quiet the room was. Our room also had a filtered water tap! This allowed us to avoid buying so many plastic bottles. Breakfast on the roof was such a treat. Good food and an unforgettable view overlooking the plaza!

Wonderful property

Katari’s location is second to none: right in front of the main city plaza. The rooms were nicely appointed. There is no AC, just a fan, which we didn’t really need to use during our stay (early May). Breakfast on the rooftop offers a killer view of Plaza de Armas with the cathedral and volcano as a beautiful backdrop. Staff are super friendly and helpful. The plaza can get noisy at night, but is safe with lots of police officers around.

Next to everything, staff was so helpful!
