Room had terrible smell, corridor was smelling terrible too

Close to Sagrada Familia. Lots of tapas bars, shops and pharmacies nearby. Some noise from street traffic

Amazing location close to the Sagrada Família. Helpful and friendly staff; only issue was late night noise due to the fact it was above a restaurant that stayed open late.

Best shower in a hotel, comfy room, kind staff, close to everything you need.

Clean

They are rude the owner, room it’s dirty all surfaces!!! Very dirty!!! We are afraid to get bactéria because the toilet wasnt clean at all! There is hair on the floor! There is dust everywhere! Disgusting!! For an expensive this it’s not acceptable to sleep in this room! No clean at all!! I wish to get my money back!! I Will complaint more!!! I want my money back! We even need to tell the cleaner( man) how he need to clean!! There is nothing they could do better!! They MUst to close this hostal!! I am so upset! The room it’s cold we try to cover with a bla let but smells a pee! How come this can happened to a place we pay a lot How they charge us extra to have a towel ! No I Will complaint and report this hotel!

Location is good, not too far from the downtown area. Since you are gone all day is okay, I was little disappointed by the shower cleanness. (Some rusty spots). The hair dryer only works for 30 seconds at a time. Very annoying have to let it cool off. Paco was very nice, and attentive once we arrived he was ready to check us in. The cleaning person did a good job. No major complaints.

Everything from check in to check out was in order and up to a great standard, especially considering the price.

Plus: 1. Very affordable and Economical. 2. Very good location near SAGRADA Família. 3. Clean room and Comfortable bed. 4. Pleasant general manager. Cons: 1. Paper thin walls. Noise from Pizza restaurant directly below room kept us up until 1-2 am on weekend. 2. Zero amenities except electric teapot. 3. No front desk or any on-site presence. 4. Needed 2 keys and 2-code access to get to room. 5. Tiny bathroom. 6. Have to prepay for entire stay, so no way to cancel. 7. No room fridge/microwave Overall: Only recommend for heavy-sleeping solo travelers on budget. Definitely not family hotel, but the Brustar doesn’t advertise as such. You pretty much get what you pay for and that’s a budget room. I did enjoy Barcelona however despite sparse accommodations.

Room was fine but need to clean once in a while, towels need to change too, however, the location was pretty much ok, close to some tour sights…. We stayed in room 24, it’s all the way at the end of 2nd floor, it couldn’t reach the wifi which Is the most important for every Tourist, That’s all our bad complain.

Great location to metro and many sites of Barcelona. Jay was great at assisting us with finding the place, even offered to meet us at the train station.

Air conditioning worked great, amazing location, and generally smooth check in and check out. Room cleanliness was the big minus, there was some hair on the wall and shower had mold on it. Otherwise water pressure in the shower was great (with hot water)!

Overall the place was in a good area. Walking distance from the Sagrada Família and the metro. That made it easy to get around. Only thing was that the powers went out one morning but got fixed sometime during the day. Other than that we had no issues and overall was a good place for me and my partner.

They should provide more pillows. We had one pillow per guest and it was a flat pillow.one of the bed in one of the room is very uncomfortable because the middle of the mattress was sagging. It needs a new mattress Otherwise wise, the place is clean, excellent location . I would still recommend the place for a good stay. Safe to walk at night, close to Metro station.

Good location, close to the metro station and walking distance from sagrada familia. AC was very welcome with the humidity. Not many amenities and room was a bit dusty (could have been cleaner), but for the price it was a good find.
