After a disappointing experience at another hotel in the Ugento area, Masseria le Mandorle, my wife and I decided to stay at Masseria Fontanelle for the remainder of our trip. It turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and exceptionally well maintained, offering exactly the relaxing atmosphere we had been hoping to find during our holiday in Puglia. Our room was spotless, and very comfortable, and every area of the hotel reflected the same attention to detail. It is clear that the owners and staff take great pride in the property. The service was outstanding throughout our stay. Everyone we met was warm, professional, and genuinely eager to make sure guests had an enjoyable experience. Breakfast was another highlight, with a nice selection of fresh local products served in a lovely setting. Most importantly, this hotel reminded us exactly why we enjoy travelling in Puglia. The warmth of the people, the beautiful surroundings, and the genuine hospitality completely turned our trip around after an earlier disappointment elsewhere. We left feeling relaxed, well looked after, and already hoping to return. We would not hesitate to recommend Masseria Fontanelle to anyone looking for a peaceful and authentic stay in the Salento countryside.

I am super delighted, happy and very satisfied with my staying at the lovely Masseria Fontanelle. From the moment that I arrived to the airport and the helpful driver picked me up, the staff delivered first class professionalism. At every stage of my experience, I felt very welcomed, supported and spoiled. Since the moment I stepped into the location (I was travelling alone), Sara at the reception made me feel supported, cared of, accompanied and just like as if I was at home! There was nothing that she did not know: Her evident professionalism in hospitality (speaking three languages) was very helful during my staying. Then I met Gemy, a lovely, bubbly, bright and hard working girl, who helped me to sort out a little emergency that I had and gave me the best advice to move around historical places in Lecce. She was warm and efficient, the kind of person that goes the extra mile to assist clients. Then there was Katia, always assisting with a contagious smile, answering all my questions. I was celebrating my birthday and I couldn't have a better experience with the kitchen staff, starting with Martina. She always made sure that things were good with the food, that I was having the best time and she brought me the nicest birthdAy cake to celebrate the occassion. All the kitchen staff (I don't have all ther names), was fun, attentive and impeccale with the service. The food was delicious, abundant and full of local flavours. I am missing other names, such as the lady at the spa, which offered the most relaxing and restoring massage, but every single person at the Masseria was absolutely amazing. The manager is very lucky to have them all! The Masseria exudes beauty, calmness and charm. I am awfully missing all the stunning sunsets, the blue colours of the sea and the sound of the birds in the morning. I will definitely come back to stay for a bit longer and perhaps enjoy the other services and experiences offered. Grazie mile! :)

I have just returned with 22 yogis from a fantastic 5 day stay at this beautiful property. I cannot rate it more highly especially the food and presentation, cleanliness of the rooms and public spaces, together with the kindness and service from the staff. The location is deliciously rural and you feel a real commitment to sustainability and longevity not just at the hotel but in the surroundings too. There is so much to do from a day on the beach to Padel tennis, bike rides, a lovely spa, outdoor cinema and a choice of beautifully landscaped natural swimming pools. I would particularly like to extend thanks to Guisy, Rocco, Giulia, Martina, Laura, Gabriella Fiume and Claudia in the restaurant and of course the chefs Alessandra and Laura. To Gianluca at the bar, Manuella for her delicious massage in the Spa and to the fantastic team at Reception, Paola Katia, Gemi and Francesca. We all had a wonderful time with you.

My wife and I stayed here for 5 days as part of our honeymoon and it was a fantastic experience. We felt truly spoiled, great facilities, great staff providing outstanding service. Breakfast and dinner were great, even their own wine was yummy. Loved it and we highly reccomend and hope to get back there sooner or later to relax again.

Very nice service. Beautiful place. Breakfast was high standard. Rooms are noisy but spacious. Would go back.. for the right price (paid 140/night with breakfast incl.)
