The rooms and comfort are excellent. However, the amenities are incomplete. A hotel like Basko should have a smart TV in every room so kids can watch Netflix and YouTube.

The best, the only slight downside is that the duvet cover doesn't seem to have been replaced, which causes a slight itch, but it doesn't really affect your skin. It's still reasonable for that many rooms. Thumbs up for the hotel 👍

If you're going to Padang, I'd recommend this hotel. Besides its very affordable price, the mall on the hotel grounds is perfect for a staycation.

Disappointed with my stay here. I stayed for two nights with my kids, but I was given a smoking room. The room was incredibly dirty, and the smell was truly uncomfortable. The room was large, but poorly maintained. I'd only stay there once.

Entering the hotel lobby, the lighting was poor. Just entered the room. The plus side was the room was bright, the floor was clean. There was a prayer mat and a Quran. But there was a problem, the door didn't have a double lock from the inside, just felt unsafe. The room smelled musty and damp, as if there wasn't enough air circulation. The bed linen was so faded, I couldn't bear to use it, so I had to cover my feet. There were only two pillows, and they were thin. The phone couldn't be used, and I couldn't get another pillow. The cupboard was rotten in some corners. The work chair had a flat seat, making it uncomfortable to sit on. In the bathroom, there was only soap that smelled like hand soap. There was no hair dryer. The breakfast food was standard. It probably needed improvement.

The hotel staff is friendly, the location is strategic, next to the mall, and the hotel has a swimming pool. It's a really fun stay here, and there are lots of promotions too.
