Greenhost is one of those hotels I keep coming back to, and for good reason. I've stayed here a couple of times now, and it remains one of my top choices whenever I'm in Yogyakarta. The location is a big plus, just a short walk from Prawirotaman Street, which has a great selection of cafes, restaurants, and bars perfect for a relaxed evening out. The rooms are not the largest, but they are well-maintained, clean, and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Nothing feels dated or out of place. What really sets Greenhost apart, though, is the staff – genuinely friendly, warm, and always helpful. It's the kind of service that makes you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Would definitely recommend and will be back!

A really cool hotel, close to the bustling center of Prawirotaman, yet still in a quiet and comfortable location. A favorite among foreigners.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a problem with my room's leaking AC. I informed the front desk staff, and a few minutes later, the engineering team arrived and repaired it very quickly. Very responsive. The room was clean and comfortable. Hopefully, I can stay here again on my next trip.

One of my wishlist hotels for staying in Jogja, because they're often booked, so when I got it yesterday I was really happy. The staff are friendly, the environment is cool, the bed and pillows are soft, the AC is cold, and the bathroom is clean. The soap in the bathroom has a nice scent. I like it. What brand do you use? This hotel is genuinely so cool, no notes. The first thing that hits you is the atrium — this long lap pool running straight down the middle with plants literally cascading down from every level and a glass roof on top, so you’re basically swimming in a mini jungle in the middle of the city?? Not something you see everyday, super unique concept. Design-wise, the whole place is covered in greenery, very earthy and calming, feels more like a botanical garden than a hotel lobby. Also a total photo dream, my mom and I took photos everywhere, lol, every corner looks aesthetic. Location in Prawirotaman is solid too, easy to get around from there and explore Yogya. Staff were nice and it just felt like a relaxing, well-thought-out stay overall. Would 100% come back and this is now my go-to rec for anyone visiting Jogja who wants something a bit different from the usual hotel setup 🌿🏊

The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is unique.

Stayed during weekdays and the staff were quite attentive upon my requests: the quiet rooms. The staff were kind as they allowed me and my female friend to use a female shower room (it is actually for a quick rinse after swimming). We were late check-out guests who needed to take a shower in the afternoon before catching our train/flight. But, unfortunately, the men's shower is open, so not recommended for male guests to take a bath (again, it's actually a facility for a quick rinse after swimming).

A minimalist hotel within walking distance of Prawirotaman. It's cool, but the rooms aren't too big. Breakfast isn't extensive but is fine. There's also a mini gym.

It's very comfortable and has a great vibe. But why aren't they serving coffee and tea? Only mineral water.

This hotel's concept is unique. Overall, it was great, with the staff being very helpful and friendly. The rooms were amazing and comfortable.

My family and I have stayed at Greenhost twice ☺ A pleasant hotel, strategic location to the tourist road (Jalan Prawirotaman 1) and lots of great culinary delights at local prices 🤩 Don't forget to have breakfast at Soto Pak Parno behind the hotel 😍

Overall a pretty pleasant stay. Loved how big the bathroom is for a boutique hotel. The room is just the right size for a solo traveler or 2 people max. Nothing fancy but has enough amenities for your basic needs. I ordered in-room service Art Kitchen fried rice. It tasted pretty good for in-room dining and I was surprised at how big the portion is. The hotel is also within walking distance to a lot of cute coffeeshops/cafes/bars/massage places, but you must take a car to get to the central/city center area. Hotel staff is also friendly, always smiling. Check-in/out was pretty easy and quick. No complaints!
