Staycation plan in Pandeglang because the house is being renovated. Intentionally a bit far from home, because the weather in Pandeglang is cool and a few years ago, Horison Pandeglang was really good. But for some reason when I stayed there on May 24-25, 2025, it was really disappointing for the big name of Horison Group with a 3-star level and a price above 500 thousand.
1. It's a bit difficult to bring a suitcase because for some reason the construction concept, there are a lot of stairs down. So you have to lift your suitcase. If you want to be given stairs, it's okay, as long as you are given access for the suitcase to slide
And as far as I remember, in the past, the hallway along the corridor was given a carpet so that it wouldn't be noisy. But for some reason now there is no carpet
2. The hotel guest lift and the employee lift are combined
And you can see the rusty lift. This means that the lift is not maintained and is prone to damage. Not to mention the staff who are on duty at night, they seem unprofessional. Wearing flip-flops, messy hair, and what's worse, their breath smells of red wine jamu.
3. The sink is clogged and rusty.
4. For a minimum horizon level of a 3-star hotel, the tissue holder uses a plastic tissue holder and the furniture is damaged and very rickety.
5. The water heater for drinking is also very dirty
6. The soap and shampoo holders are unclear. There is only one for soap. There is none for shampoo.
7. The bedroom and bathroom are very dusty
8. The room key is still manual. No access card for the room or the elevator. This means that the security of the inn is very unsafe. In fact, to turn on the electricity, you have to insert an access card. It's unclear.
9. The extra bed is dirty and flat. So it looks like a mattress for refugees.
10. The blanket, bedsheets, and white towels are very dull.
Really fed up staying here. Better to go to Horsion in Serang Ratu or Serang TCP.
