Friendly staff, location close to food places, dim lighting in the room, poor cleanliness, lots of cockroaches, smelly bathroom... AC not cold at all

Family vacation, booked 2 rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel atmosphere was comfortable, but amenities (toothbrushes and toothpaste) were not provided. Overall, it was okay.

The hotel staff often sleeps around 11 a.m. Sometimes we ask questions and no one is there, and the staff never even smiles. Sometimes they say there are no rooms available, but when you have to pay more, they say there are.

Overall, the service was friendly, thank you Emerland. BTW, the food wasn't ready yesterday.

Highly recommended hotel in the center of Surabaya City

Located in the city center.. Close to everywhere... Clean, spacious rooms...

A 3-star hotel, but the facilities are so incomplete. There's no mat, so the room is all wet. There's no coffee/tea, no kettle, and a baby cockroach suddenly passed by the table near the bed. Luckily, it appeared just as I was checking out. Please keep it clean.

I arrived at the hotel at 12:15 AM, but when I checked in, they said the room wasn't ready. Even though I booked it on the app, I noted the estimated check-in time was 11:45 PM, but the room wasn't ready yet.

I've been staying for 7 days but will be staying for another 10 days, so far so good, the staff are friendly, clean and very helpful. Yesterday I booked the wrong date, and the staff helped me with a refund and immediately got my money back, thanks.

The staff and facilities are quite complete and clean. Hot water is always available, and parking is ample. The air conditioning is cool, making for a comfortable stay.

I stayed in room 202. Initially, I was surprised when the receptionist told me I'd been upgraded. But after entering the room, I found it looked like it needed some work. The lighting was dim, the furniture was broken, the personal safe didn't work, and I couldn't even try the TV. If the linens, pillows, and sheets could talk, they'd probably say, "Please upgrade us, we're very tired." The linens were very thin and torn, the AC was noisy and not cooling, and it smelled of cigarette smoke. Since I arrived late at night and was tired, I decided to stay the night. Besides, the rooms seemed to be full because of the Surabaya Marathon. The bathroom was clean. The staff, especially the security guard, were very friendly. The location is strategically located in the city center. Hopefully, it will be repaired soon and even better.

I recommend for those who are tired, just stay here.
