Newly built hotel, new rooms, clean, comfortable, and friendly staff. The rooms are perhaps a little on the small side. Cool air conditioning, hot water, fast Wi-Fi, smart TV, and ample parking. Close to parks, beaches, malls, and entertainment venues.

The bathtub is comfortable, the hot water works, the refrigerator works, and the bed is neat and comfortable. If you choose a smoking room, bring air freshener. The TV in the room has bad sound.

First experience staying at Pacific Hotel Balikpapan. Check in Sunday, March 15, 2026 and check out Monday, March 16, 2026. Overall everything is OK👍 The hotel is located in the city center, the receptionist is friendly & informative, the room is clean, tidy, and quite spacious, and the sahur menu is quite varied (btw I ate the soto banjar which was delicious). Cons: 1. For the request attached in the app (early check-in time & additional greeting card) cannot be fulfilled. For check-in time, there is a problem because the room is not ready after the weekend & for the greeting card you have to contact the hotel directly and there is an additional fee. 2. Parking for motorbikes is not shaded. 3. Minimal plugs. The only working plug is the one in the bathroom so it is quite complicated when charging your phone (photo attached). The plug near the kettle does not work, even near the bed after searching, no other plugs were found (video attached). That's all 🙏

I always enjoy staying at Pacific. Although it's an older hotel, it's comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. Good job, all the staff do a great job ensuring the comfort of their guests. I'll definitely be a repeat customer.
