The price was worth it, and the breakfast was delicious for the price. Adding breakfast for my son was 25,000 Rupiah. The hotel was clean, and the car was cleaned. I chatted with the car wash guy. He said he's a public transportation driver and gives 5,000 Rupiah per car for every car he washes. He also likes to give tips to guests whenever he sees them. Thank God.

The staff, including the security guard, are friendly, the water heater works well, the AC is cool and delicious, the only downside is that there is no kettle provided for making hot coffee or tea.

The hotel was clean and tidy, and the staff (both customer service and security) were friendly and helpful. A pleasant experience, something not all hotels offer, is that if guests bring their cars, the staff will wipe them clean in the morning. This is one of the unique aspects of staying at the Gothic Hotel; guests are often generous with tips for the car cleaning.

I booked a suite, but was initially given a suite that didn't match the photos and smelled of cigarettes. Since I'd already specified no smoking, the staff kindly replaced it with a large, clean, and fragrant suite.
