The owner's family were friendly and had lovely smiles; they were always happy to chat with us. The room had a large four-poster bed and a nice wardrobe. While there was no refrigerator, there was a kettle, tea set, mouthwash cups, and tissues. The bathroom was small, and showering would wet the toilet area, but since the sink was outside, it wasn't a big issue. The shower water pressure was good, although adjusting it was sometimes difficult. Shampoo and body wash were provided, but they didn't lather very well, so I recommend bringing your own. The bath towels seemed to be washed in-house, and they smelled a little after several days of bad weather. The terrace was spacious, and the privacy screens for the neighboring rooms were well-designed, making it perfect for relaxing. The location was excellent in my opinion; it was easy to get to the bus stop and local warungs (small restaurants). It's set back from a busy road and located further back on the property, so it's quiet. It's a little disappointing that there's no seating inside the room other than the bed, but if you really need it, you can always bring a chair from the terrace into the room. It was a very, very nice place to stay, but unfortunately, the mattress on the bed was extremely hard, which made my shoulders and lower back ache terribly, and I ended up having some bad days.
