Staff don't understand English very well even simple communication. Activities as shown in - room booklet is not available. When we want to do exactly the activity on the book (making herbal compress workshop), they said we have to pay 2000 THB / person instead of 250 THB and claim that the price on the book is old price, they havent update yet. Very bad experience!

Without a doubt one of the favorite hotels, I stayed during my first time in Chang Mai! Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by the staff The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the restaurant very flexible (appreciate this!) and the food so delicious. I had a great evening here, which obviously also added up to the experience. The mountain villa was great, nice design and a peaceful atmosphere. The location is very nearby the Tiger Kingdom and Popopark ( the park of paper elephant and eco paper), it takes 5-10 minutes to come by bicycle. I will come back one day soon.

The room is a cottage in the back. It is natural, quiet and good. Most of the guests will come to practice meditation. There are Dharma books to read. In the room without TV

The location was not bad but it was not great either. It was really close to Tiger Kingdom and Elephant Poopoopaper Park (both less than 1 km.) It was moderately close to Bai Orchid and Butterfly Farm (2km - it was close, yes, but the road had no sidewalk; I did try to take shortcuts to avoid the main road.) Very few songthaew passed by on the road and I don't know why but Grab Car rate in the area was ridiculously high *for short distance* (4-5 km) but normal for longer distance (from there to Chiang Mai it was normal rate but to get to Siam Insect Zoo, which was only 5 km away) the rate was about 10 times the normal rate. Grab Taxi was not available. But the hotel managed to book a car with a very nice driver who speaks good English and was just a very kind person (a huge huge thank you and appreciation for Mr. Kat!) at a very decent rate. We booked the forest hut room. It was quite an experience. My 7yo son loved it! And there were farm animals next to the coffee shop inside the resort complex! The room was clean but the air circulation *inside the room with the door and window closed* was not so good. When the door was open it was all clean, fresh air-- it was amazing. But... there were mosquitos so we had to keep the door and window closed. The staffs were very helpful and polite and kind. All in all it was a pleasant experience in the nature.
