The room smelled strongly of musty cigarette smoke. This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, especially for a little over a thousand baht. The reception staff lacked service mind. The walls were thin; I could hear children, footsteps, and conversation. The smell of cigarette smoke was shocking. The shower area was very narrow, and the door to the wet zone was loose and almost impossible to open. There was used soap from the previous guest in the bathroom, as if it hadn't been cleaned. The towels had holes and were faded and discolored, like they'd been washed with colored clothes and used extensively. The pillows were uncomfortable, with clumps of stuffing. The TV didn't work, and the staff didn't provide the Wi-Fi password. The walls made the room look older than it actually was. The view was of a deserted area next to the building. Most importantly, only one of the two air conditioners worked; the other was an old, yellowed unit with dangling wires – it looked like something out of a horror movie; I didn't dare sleep with the lights off. I even saw a shower cap covering the smoke detector while I lay on my back – clear evidence of someone smoking in the room. It was a terrible experience; one stay is enough, and I regret wasting my money.
