cute !! every corners are carefully maintained and clean, we were a bit squeezed in our standard room but the decor is nice. The staffs are friendly & helpful, and they provide floating breakfast.. 👍👍

The downsides are that you don't get toothpaste or a toothbrush, and there's a bit of lizard droppings. The upsides are friendly staff and good service. The view is great, and the food is okay.

I'll say it's good, but there's nothing exceptional for the price. For 30 Singapore dollars more, we had two nights in a nice hotel in Yogyakarta. If you're a good practitioner, you won't risk missing the call time for prayer with the six or more mosques around that will make their call at different times, which can keep you awake for a very good half hour. You should know that. We will let you know on the day of your arrival.

Hi, Gerard from Singapore First of all thanks so much for your staying Amd I want to make two things clear. 1. Price You stayed 1 night at 10th May 2025. 12th May was Waisak. You visited during the peak season of the year. You stayed at Premium bungalow(-room size 52 m2). In case of normal season, room price is Rp 1,200,000 for Saturday. But You stayed 2 days before the Waisak. Room price was just Rp 1,350,000. I think it was a very reasonable price considering the peak season. So comparing the price with Yogyakarta is not fair. Next year, We plan to raise our prices a bit more during the Waisak season like other hotels in Borobudur. 2. Mosques & Local culture In the case of local Javanese villages, there are so many mosques at everywhere. Manybe You can meet the mosque every 100 meters(-within walking distance). This is for the convenience of the residents in local village. Fortunately, there are few houses around my place, so the nearest mosque is 210m away, the next mosques 350m away and the next temple is 450m away. You can check all through the Google map by yourself. In Borobudur, the places that are free from the mosques's prayer sounds are the Amanjwo resort or Plataran Resort, which owns several hectares of land. *We provide disposable earplugs in your room. Staying at this hotel was truly refreshing. Surrounded by lush green rice fields, the atmosphere was calm and perfect for relaxation. The hotel's design blends tropical style with traditional touches, creating a unique and cozy vibe. The room was spacious and had a private balcony facing the fields. Friendly staff, delicious breakfast, and the morning coffee with good mountain views is the best! Highly recommended for a peaceful, nature-connected staycation.

The place is very comfortable, quiet, the atmosphere is on the edge of the rice fields, cool, beautiful scenery, there is a beautiful swimming pool. Good facilities, comfortable rooms with AC, clean, spacious toilets, smooth water with water heaters, complete amenities. The owner and staff are very friendly, helpful, fast response. Highly recommended.

The room was clean, and the kids were very happy with the easy access to the pool, for breakfast it was delivered to the room with 3 menu choices, fried rice, fried noodles and chicken soto, as well as juice and cut fruit, the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Found Hidden gen in Magelang, only 5 minutes from Borobudur 🌸 The place is clean, the service is really friendly, suitable for those of you who want to relax and take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. Atmosphere/Facilities: the atmosphere is really calm, the air is also cool Food: simple and very comfort food Staff Assistance: the staff and even the owner are very friendly Highlights: the bungalow is very spacious, it even feels very private, the air is still very well maintained Price: affordable price with fairly complete facilities Location: only 5 minutes from Borobudur, access to motorbikes and cars and on the side of the road

I recently stayed at Janur Bungalow and the experience was amazing! The atmosphere is very peaceful. The bungalows are clean and comfortable, and the design is also unique.
