It has a smart TV, you won't get bored in your room, there are fish to feed, meatballs and chicken noodles are available from 7-9 pm, there are chicken satay and goat satay vendors in the afternoon, you can ride a bike around, there is yoga on Saturdays and Sundays, photos in Javanese traditional clothes are free, but you have to queue.

Westlake offered us a lake view straight from our balcony, a very beautiful one of the biggest water areas I have seen in Yogyakarta. Hence, their location is far from the city center, but they offered us many activities to do with an additional charge. The cleanliness of the room and the warmness from their receptionist definitely could be improved. But again, if you are looking for nature, water, birds singing, and a quiet area, choose The Westlake Resort and don't stay for just one night, at least 2 nights would be better. Will be back!

I swear this hotel has a lot of activities. In the afternoon, at 3 o'clock, I waited for the satay seller from the lake. It was cheap too, only 15K. In the afternoon, the kids could swim and ride bikes. They could feed the fish and ride boats too. In the evening, starting at 7 o'clock, we waited for the bakso seller to pass by. The meatballs and chicken noodles were delicious, I swear, and it was also cheap, only 15K. In the morning, we continued swimming and riding bikes. Breakfast was also good, we were so happy 🫶

The Wi-Fi connection is smooth and very stable, the cleanliness is quite good for the room and its surroundings, clean towels, (only yesterday the water heating kettle was dusty as if it hadn't been used for a long time and hadn't been wiped by the cleaning staff), the staff service if needed was also very helpful when yesterday I needed to borrow an iron, and ordered white rice at the restaurant, very communicative (fast response) and friendly, the taste of the food at the restaurant is also quite good, there are meatballs & satay around which also taste quite good, thank you, we will be back to stay there again hehe.

Staying here was truly memorable, with lots of interesting activities for families, beautiful surroundings, and friendly staff.

I've been here three times and never get bored, hehe. The kids are happy when they come here.

I really enjoyed staying at Westlake because of the many activities available. However, the room wasn't soundproof, so the sounds of guests in other rooms were quite audible. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay at Westlake.

The engineer fixed the dripping AC, but half an hour later it dripped again.

It was a truly wonderful stay, a truly memorable family vacation, with lake views, friendly service, and clean rooms. The facilities are also complete, including feeding the fish in the lake and cycling.

In the past, everything was from the room, the food was delicious... Now, in 2026, the bathroom smells, the bed makes noise, the food for fried rice is salty, the chicken curry is salty.

Staying here with my family was perfect for family time. Plus, they provided a very reliable photographer, and the results were very satisfying. It was a memorable family vacation, plus the photos and albums were beautiful. Furthermore, the hotel was very clean, spotless in every corner and in every room. The food was varied and overall delicious. However, I found the soundproofing in the rooms to be a bit lacking, perhaps due to the lake-view balcony concept, which often leads to guests being excited about the location, allowing noise to easily enter the rooms. Highly recommended, and we will return.

The hotel staff is very friendly, the location is comfortable, beautiful, and clean. If you want a staycation at The West Lake, one day is not enough. The concept of staying with family or honeymoon is very suitable here. The breakfast menu is varied. In the evenings, there is a meatball seller who goes around. At first I thought it was a traveling meatball seller from outside, but it turns out the meatballs and chicken noodles are also made by the restaurant at a reasonable price. In short, entering West Lake is safe, no need to go anywhere, just enjoy your vacation there.👍
