The beach is beautiful and there are loungers, kayaks and snorkels provided for use. The sand is very rough as it is shells and not smooth to walk on. The room was clean however the bathroom needs some work and there were lots of bug in the bathroom and room in general. We ate at the restaurant which provided good food and we didn't find it too expensive. We booked a 12go transfer from koh lanta to koh ngai which turns out, included a long tail from the main koh ngai beach to the paradise beach so we didn't have any issues getting to the hotel. The hotel then helped us book our next transport over to another island.

We liked the resort very much. It‘s a nice and clean place and staff is nice and friendly. The reason why the resort does not receive 5 stars from us is, that everything was way too expensive. We know it is an island and that everything has to be transported from the main land. But there are islands around (e.g. Koh Mook) where you only pay a third. Also the problem is that there is no other restaurant around (except the friendly man close by who cooks dinner for you and sells fruits and water) so that you are forced to eat there. During the day you can walk to the east side (about 20 minutes walk through the jungle) where there are some restaurants. But these are expensive as well. During the day a lot of day tourists arrive by boat. Luckely the beach is quite long, so that they can spread. A really good thing is, that the pool and sunbeds are for hotel guests only. You can also borrow a kajak. It could be a good idea to bring your own mat as there are not enough sunbeds for all hotel guests and unfortunately there are tourists who reserve there sunbeds with towels before they have breakfast. The beach is nice. Contrary to the other reviews the sandflies did not bother us. The ants were more annoying. You can snorkel easily from the beach to see nice fishes and corals. You can even find ‚nemo‘. :-) On the way to the view point there is also a small beach where you can be on your own. All in all, if you are looking for a clean and quite place, this is the right choice.

When you arrive at the main beach at Koh Ngai, it is not clear how to get to Paradise Beach. This part could be improved. I love the facilities and the quietness of the resort. Food was good although a bit limited in choice, but this is a secluded place, so it is understandable. If there was an armchair in the bedroom, it would be absolutely perfect.
