Breakfast was included in the room rate, but the receptionist said it wasn't included when I checked in.

The hotel gave us a very negative vibe right from the moment we checked in at the reception. The staff members (receptionist and the bell boy) arguing loudly between themselves in front of guests, unorganized check in process, dull and passive attitude of the staff members. The hotel is massively understaffed. They don’t help with luggage, housekeeping will take forever to address requests (if at all they do), reception doesn’t answer calls. The room condition is very poor and all facilities (including pool and restaurant) that they advertise are closed. It felt like the property is on the verge of closing down in near future and and hence poor maintenance and the staff do not care. Overall one of the worst properties I have experienced. I recommend avoid booking this hotel even though the price range and photos shown might look tempting.

The hotel is in a very nice location but the facilities are not upgraded, if the room amenities were more modern it would attract more people to stay here.

4-star standard hotel with West Lake view, has deteriorated and is old due to time, however the equipment is still in good condition.

I arrived late to check in, around 10pm. Because I didn't know the hotel didn't have an elevator, I took a room on the 3rd floor with a lake view. The receptionist showed me where to find an empty parking space and then went to the room. They didn't give me any instructions on where the room was, I had to find it myself, I called for a long time before I found a housekeeping staff, I told her because I had a lot of stuff and was tired, I wanted to change to a room on the 1st floor because there was no elevator so I couldn't go to the 3rd floor. She replied: I don't know, you have to go change the room yourself and she didn't do anything to help or guide the guests. Not a good experience at all.

My family arrived 2 hours earlier than the regulation, however, the receptionist still created conditions for early check-in because there was a vacant room. The food at the restaurant was reasonably priced although not very rich. The room was old but quite fully equipped, however, because the hotel is located by the lake, there were quite a lot of mosquitoes this season.

Old hotel but clean, when I asked the staff to check the broken door, the staff tried to argue. Later when they realized they were wrong, they left, not letting the maintenance department or changing rooms. About the service, I give it 2/10!

TL is really rundown now and not worth the booking price. The cleaning is also not clean, the 2 corners of the mattress on the head are still covered with a lot of dust (like it hasn't been cleaned for a long time). Maybe because it's been too long, the facilities are seriously degraded. If you don't say it, no one will know it's a hotel. I've never had to write a review about a hotel like this.

Very old hotel, never invested in renovations. Reception, restaurant, and maid staff all unprofessional for me. I live my life in hotels, but even a hostel is more professional than that. Good is the place directly at the West Lake, very quiet and big room and low price.

The hotel claiming themselves as 4 ⭐ but I think it must not be 4 ⭐ rather than 3 ⭐ only. They should renovate, keep clean and modern.

The space is great but the operating management unit does not exploit it. Waste of Space West Lake is very beautiful.
