So I booked a deluxe double room. When I first booked it, it was available. But when we arrived, they told me the deluxe double room is full so we have to move to the twin room instead. After that, we stayed in the twin bed room for like 15 minutes before a hotel staff come and said that the room that we are staying in, is booked and the person who booked it has arrived, so again, we need to move into another room. I was so taken aback by this, and asking maybe if I could get a double suit room, I was willing to pay more because we were so tired we just need a comfortable bed to sleep on, but they told me I have to pay full if I want a new room, meaning the money for the room that we booked before could not be returned nor used to upgrade the room. So I went to the front desk to complain, and suddenly the supposedly "full" deluxe double have a free room and we can stay there for the night. What I mean is, update it in the app if the room is really all full so we get what we actually paid, not being moved around from one room to another just because the hotel doesn't update it in the app or anything else. We could just move to another hotel, but the booking wasn't refundable so it'll be a waste of money. I really hope nothing like this will ever happen again to any other customer in the future.
