Stayed for one night in Amed Lodge, the cottage closest to the beach. Room was simple but charming, with a good AC. Bathroom was clearly the weak spot, with tiny, very dirty sink, but toilet with ocean view though. Direct beach access was appreciated, but wave sounds made it hard to sleep well. Breakfast at beachfront deck a plus.

Solitude at its best! No regret choosing this lodge for my alone time. I picked the Amed room, which is beachfront, and it fully met my expectations. The room is beautiful with a warm wood-themed design. It comes with AC and a rotary fan, wardrobe, refrigerator, safe, comfy bed, and calming lighting. Balcony directly faces the beach and sea, perfect for quiet moments. No TV, but Wi-Fi is fast and stable. Sleep with the sound of wave is just... amazing! Beach is only feet away. Swimmable, suitable for light snorkeling. Lodge also provides snorkeling and diving tours with pickup directly from the beach. Staff are helpful and friendly, always smiling and ready when needed. Foods are average but still enjoyable. Tried salad, fruit platter, mi goreng, and nasi goreng. Portions are decent and taste is good. Breakfast in front of the beach makes everything feel better :) Summary: (+) Beachfront room with direct sea view (+) Calm and peaceful atmosphere, great for solo stay (+) Comfortable bed and good room facilities (+) No TV equipped but Fast and reliable Wi-Fi provided (+) Friendly and helpful staff (+) Beach suitable for swimming and light snorkeling. First time in Amed for a freediving course and I had a wonderful experience staying in Amed Lodge by Sudamala Resorts. The hotel is super cleann and very unique. The breakfast is amazing, but the most important thing is that the staff was very friendly. Definitely will come back again!

The staff is very friendly! The location is okay because it is right on the beach. Most of the guests are foreigners. At first, I was confused about where to check in, because there were no signs for check-in, it turned out that I had to go downstairs. For those who choose a bunk room type and are afraid, the room is on the 3rd floor, the toilet is on the 2nd floor, the bathroom is on the 1st floor.

I had a wonderful stay here. Unfortunately, I was only able to stay for a night, but I look forward to being back here again. The staff were pleasant, incredibly helpful, they have a small but great access to the shore, a lovely beachfront terrace, and a very tastefully decorated cottage. The meals were reasonably priced, the taste was average for me, but other than that, all was very well here.

Tampak depan jalan agak spooky sih tapi ternyata dalem nya cakep, style jepang minimalis. Staf nya ramah, menyenangkan. Dapet kamar Amed yang balkon nya view pantai, cakep banget, tinggal keluar kamar dah ketemu pantai, sewain alat snorkling juga, gak perlu perahu, langsung byur. Yang punya anak-anak atau ada orang tua kudu hati-hati sih sama kamar mandi nya, shower nya harus lewat tangga yang gak ada handle. Pool nya gak dibersihin tiap hari kayaknya, tapi pas bersih enak buat main air karena kecil, model dalam di tengah (palung) Jangan lupa nyoba resto nya, masakannya enak, jus nya fresh bukan sirup. Recommended lah kalau ke Amed

unique, clean, friendly, and food are good. I have breakfast, lunch and dinner there, they all are good. the bed so comfortable. This place located in one of the best beach spot in amed for snorkling or swimming along way to jemeluk bay beach. I wish I could stay longer here.
