The location and atmosphere of the hotel are good, but the management is very bad. We booked for two nights. When we checked in, it was still normal. The next day, we planned to take a nap in the afternoon because we were tired from traveling. So we went out to have lunch. When we got back to the hotel, we couldn't get into the room because the hotel brought new mattresses for every room. So they dismantled the room without informing us first. And we didn't put up a sign that the room would be cleaned because we thought we would come back to sleep in the afternoon. But every room was opened to change new mattresses. We went down to ask the counter and were told to wait outside for 2-3 hours. We didn't prepare anything. Our belongings and clothes were stuck in the room. We had to drive to wait at the park until 4 pm. My boyfriend couldn't stand it anymore and called to ask. He said that our room didn't change mattresses because we were staying there but changed to a room that didn't have any guests. So we said, oh... then why did you have to wait somewhere else for several hours? He said that we misunderstood it ourselves. But we insisted that the staff said this and asked us to check the CCTV that our room was opened for use by the staff and that there were mattresses in front of every room on the floor. So he apologized, but we were already disappointed because we had lost both money and time and privacy. This trip to Chiang Mai was quite disappointing. So I complained to Traveloka, which later the hotel staff called to apologize and asked us to move to a better room instead. But we said that it was not an issue because we were not concerned with the room but with the hotel management that made the customers who had already paid wait somewhere else and could not stay for almost half a day. Why should the customers have to deal with the hotel's problems even though they had already paid and could not stay? So I would like to review that if anyone is thinking of staying here and encounters the same problem as us, think carefully before staying because they took our room without informing the customers even though the customers' belongings were still in the room and they made the customers wait somewhere else even though we were renting the hotel to sleep, not asking for free accommodation. They took the liberty and used the most carelessness, did not respect the guests who were staying and did not have good management. I must say it was terrible. Note: The day we stayed was a Saturday and Sunday holiday. There were a lot of guests but they still changed the beds. They should have known that it was a holiday but they still did it. If the guests were not allowed to stay, they did not inform us first. They broke into the room without asking for permission from the guests. In conclusion, it would be better to stay at the temple and respect the guests who were staying.
