The room isn't too big, but it's clean enough.

We booked for 5 hours and extended because the flight was rescheduled for 6 hours. For 4.5 hours, they kept ringing the room without saying anything. We paid more expensively.

Comfy stay in Geylang, Singapore

This is a review of the Deluxe Bathtub room. Hotel 81 Premier (Hollywood) is a pretty uniquely decorated budget hotel at the Geylang area of Singapore. Checking in was very easy and fast, it took less than 1 minute for me to receive my room keycard. ROOM: The room was a little small and compact, it doesn't have a lot of space for storing large belongings but for the price, it's not too bad. The room was clean and neat when I entered, the air con is good as well. There are sadly only 2 charging ports around the room for people who need them. SERVICES: The Wi-Fi worked well, the TVs only broadcasted local channels when I was staying at my room. I would like to give some compliments to the staff. Firstly when I stored my umbrella in the lobby, I told the staff and they helped to put a tag on my umbrella to ensure that it's identifiable. Secondly, when I requested some coffee packets in the middle of the night, they were able to help accommodate and delivered not only a few but quite a lot to my room in a very fast manner. So a huge thank you to the hotel staffs for providing great services in ensuring the guests have a pleasant stay. 👍✨ COMFORT: The bed felt nice to lie and sleep on, but the blankets were super tightly tucked so its not easy to pull it out. The bathtub was alright, the maximum water temperature was very hot but there were a few problems with the shower and drainage area. AMENITIES: There is a small safe and dryer inside the drawers. There's also a mini fridge and basic amenities like toothbrush, coffee and tea packets are provided. The shower has a separate shampoo and bodywash dispenser which worked well enough. OTHER: In terms of accessibility, the nearest bus stop is about a few minutes walk and the nearest MRT is about a 15 minutes walk or so. There are some minimarts and restaurants around the area which is convenient. OVERALL: I genuinely think this is quite a good budget hotel, given the nice decor and excellent services.

Booking was reliable! Check-in was easy, hotel front desk was helpful, hotel room was clean (clean room, clean bed, clean bathroom), with complete standard amenities that I think a hotel these days should have (Wi-Fi, smart TV, toothbrush package, soap, shampoo, clean/safe water for drinking). Really happy with this hotel. The only downside for me is the location, a bit far from MRT and the area is nearby to those ‘spa’ places, if you know what I mean. But hotel wise, recommended!

Overall the hotel was good, the location is strategic, the room was clean. But we smelled the smoke of the cigarette in the bathroom. But besides that everything was good! Thank you

The room is extremely small, only for the bed and step to bath room. The gangway also very small, its hard to pass when the laundry bucket at the this gangway. I dont want to comeback and I dont recommend to anyone else.

The front desk staff were very unfriendly and unprofessional. My brother simply wanted to use the bathroom in the room I had booked bcouse no restroom at lobby,yet she demanded his passport for no clear reason. This made the whole situation feel very strange and uncomfortable. I ended up checking in and checking out within one minute because of this experience.”

Overall the room is ok for the price, can stay if you want to save money, the location is a bit far from the center but quite safe, the staff is polite, supportive when needed, the bed sheets and blankets seem old, the bed sheets are not completely clean, the blankets are all separated.

The place is comfortable, there are windows, unlimited drinking water refills, friendly staff, close to the bus stop, easy to get around, there are several bus stops to choose from. Highly recommended for families.
