Booked 4 nights just to relax and chill out irrespective of weather. Got "Press Reader" app from Wakefield Library and could read every day, free of charge, all the daily newspapers and an endless supply of free magazines. Room and bathroom very clean. Excellent breakfast each day. Host very welcoming. Two very comfortable arm chairs in bay window giving a nice view of the sea. Enjoyed our stay so much we decided to stay for 2 more nights. Using blue badge, could park 24hours free of charge directly opposite the Gurst House. Had excellent lasagne at Italian at top of road. Travelled to Whitby and Fiiley on Coast Rider bus from railway station. Our only criticism of the stay, was there was too much furniture in our room which made night time visits to bathroom, like an obstacle course.

We made a last-minute reservation for one night at Serenity Guest House and were delighted with our choice. The entire establishment was immaculate, the bed exceptionally comfortable, and we enjoyed a wonderful night’s sleep. Breakfast was outstanding, offering a wide variety of options, all beautifully presented. The owner was a fantastic host — friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We would highly recommend staying here and would certainly return.

The Serenity Hotel will not disappoint. We have stayed here twice now and received tremendous hospitality. The beds are so comfy and the breakfast is delicious. We sat at breakfast overlooking the Bay and the Grand Hotel whilst watching the fenicula tram going down to the sea front. The location is great for a walk to Scarborough spa or the shops. We will be coming back.

Just back from a lovely 5 night stay here,could not fault the service a warm and friendly welcome from Steven,from check-in which was very easy Rooms were perfect,very comfortable bed. Breakfast was very tasty. A central place to stay, nearby for the Spa and town centre. Looking forward to our next visit here in September. Highly Recommended.

Brilliant location Lovely host and staff very welcoming and friendly Rooms had everything you needed towels toiletries Extra bed made up on arrival for our son Could have done with a fan in the rooms however we was just lucky to come on the hottest day of the year 😄
