The room was clean, good size with everything you need. Dog friendly rooms. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Restaurant was excellent with good food, reasonably priced so we had breakfast, lunch and an evening meal there. Very popular but still really quiet at night. Definitely stay again. Being really picky, there was some superficial updates needed. The TV was basic and small. No plug sockets by the bed. Personally I did not like having my towels folded up and placed back in the bathroom. I may not want to share towels. Having said that the stay was great. We stayed in a dog friendly room so ideal. Hopefully will be able to return soon

We booked 2 rooms initially back in march to stay the night before download festival and the night after. Our friends had booked the same place and one had booked the week before . When we got there all our friends had their rooms booked , even our friend who booked the week before. When it came to us checking in our booking wasnt there, even though i had the confirmation email. We had driven from Plymouth and very tired .The young lady behind the bar , bless her tried to sort and couldnt even get a room in a sister property. With liasing with our friends we managed to shuffle around , but it.wasnt idea. I wouldnt have minded , but we booked 4 months prior!!! If we hadnt of had any other choice , i wouldnt of.returned , but we all had booked . The bed wasnt the best , pillows flat , but the shower was lovely. The staff behind the bar were lovely and we had a nice pizza .Its a shame as it is actually a nice place anesthetically. Also no plug.sockets beside the beds , which would be better. I hate complaining , but i feel it was a bit annoying that they had over booked and spoiled what could have been a nice experience

Okay for a few nights stay over. Free breakfast a nice touch.

Room was clean comfy bed . Staff very pleasant. Good breakfast nice bar area and sitting outside . Good position to travel around not far from places . 3rd stay great little get away excellent value

Stayed for one night, room was sufficient size for a couple. Shower could do with updating, but functional for our needs, however no place to put shower gels / shampoo's. Bar was busy, but served very quickly. Menu choices was very good, the food we ordered was served quickly and excellent quality.

I booked this property cautiously, because it seemed too good to be true...£70 for the suite on the Friday of bank holiday weekend, including dog & continental breakfast! I'm delighted to say that I found a little gem! As an added bonus the food on the Friday evening was delicious & reasonably priced...thankyou!

We left too early for breakfast but had a meal in the restaurant which was excellent. Although the room was clean I felt the bathroom is looking a bit tired and worn out. Other than that everything was good.

Stayed in room 1. Outside the drainpipe is unacceptable with a large hole in it. There is a very visible large crack going up the wall. The seating in the room is very uncomfortable and requires changing. The room can become very cold. The meals are of good quality and the best part of the stay. The continental breakfast is very poor.

Well sorted basic room, comfortable bed, good shower room and shower(!), bar and breakfast as expected. Free parking. No hassle, great staff. Felt it was a solid good value jewel amongst all the other overpriced big name hotels in the area! Recommended.

No problems, breakfast was a bit ‘limited ‘ not much left when I got there, otherwise nice bar adequate room and polite staff. Worked well

The pictures on Expedia doesn't do the place justice. Its a little hidden gem. With live entertainment with good food and drinks. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean but basic. Happy to stay there again.

We stayed for one night as we were visiting friends in the area. The reception staff were very helpful and the continental breakfast was good. The bathroom in one of our rooms was a bit tired and just needed some TLC. We didn't eat at the restaurant but would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Property was clean and tidy. Helpful friendly staff. And wow, the food was absolutely excellent, and even got 40% off Saturday main meals, which were already at a reasonable price. Excellent location for what we needed, dog friendly, so will be using again 👍

Would definitely book again next time I’m working in the area, only downside was a very noisy electric shower but other than that no issues at all.

The breakfast was very good. Bar staff very efficient.

Breakfast was toast , cereal, pastries, yogurt Fruit, juices and hot drinks

Weekly overnight stay. Excellent all round.
