Location is the best, a little bit away from the center with a nice promenade to it. The rooms are rather small, good balcony (with plastic chairs unfortunately). Very good breakfast and kind staff. Valet parking expensive.

My wife and I stayed at the Maritimo in 2016 and loved it. We had always wanted to return but unfortunately only I able to enjoy it this time as my wife was visiting family in Germany. The hotel remains one of my all time favourite hotels and I have plenty to compare it to. Beautiful spotlessly clean room, nice staff and great food. I never eat anywhere else as it's just so good, reasonably priced and a beautiful terrace beside the beach. If you're going to Makarska it's a must!

Second visit to this Hotel. Hotel Maritimo is set in a lovely part of Makarska on the costal promenade. As soon as you arrive you get the feeling of how friendly this hotel is, the Reception staff are welcoming, efficient and helpful. The rooms are comfy and extremely clean. Breakfast is served as a continental buffet, with the option of having eggs cooked for you any way you like. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff. Small Hotel with an extremely big heart. As you might imagin, we recommend this Hotel.

We had been to Makarska before and on our last visit we decided to have a drink outside Hotel Maritimo and were impressed in how they made us feel we decided to book a few nights here when we returned.

From the moment we walked into the hotel the staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel is on the beachfront and we had spectacular views. The beds were very comfy. We had a very nice breakfast with plenty of choice.

Very clean hotel, we enjoyed our stay! Hotel staff were very nice and helpful. Great location right on the strip. Only complaint--they didn't have enough parking for us in their garage so we had to park at the hotel next door which was just a short walk.

We did not plan well and needed to take extra transportation to get to and from Makarska. Svetlana at the front desk was exceptional at helping us get our travel arrangements made. She went above and beyond and was super helpful.

The main desk staff were excellent, as were the cleaners, the mail waiters / bar staff much less so, consequently chose to use other local restaurants. No real issues with this small family run hotel but by European standards would have expected a lot more for the price (at least free car parking and or deck chair). Found the local area overcrowded and over priced. For value for money there are much better European / international destinations.

Lovely hotel with the beach right in front of it,staff are wonderful and the food is excellent.Big downside for us was they could only accommodate us for 2 nights,thats how good this hotel is. We would highly reccomend the hotel maritimo.

What a lovely experience it is to stay at hotel Maritimo. The staff is extremely friendly, the hotel rooms are clean and comfortable and the location is absolutely perfect. Beautiful hotel that makes for an amazing stay! Highly recommend this hotel when visiting Makarska.

Extremely clean, very helpful staff. Unfortunately I thought this hotel was at the end of promenade not in the middle. My mistake, commercial - I prefer quieter lives location. However nice hotel. We had a car - parking avaiable if you give notice. We were able to explore a wonderful country, that we would visit again.
