Beautiful and spacious room. Very nice automatic bathroom and although I am not a Hello Kitty fan, the decor was very tasteful and well designed. Downsides: A very steep staircase to the room, which is difficult with large or heavy bags. No staff onsite, so you had to rely on the informational booklets provided in the room and the check-in was a bit awkward; at an office near Kyoto station.

Property was super convenient being so close to Nishiki markets so we really appreciated that. The room itself was also relatively spacious but is really showing its age. The carpet especially looked so stained and the room had a really bad stench to it that we had to spray quite a bit of air freshener. Also we stayed on the ground floor and could hear everything (even footsteps) from the room above us, so don’t expect a quiet stay if you get the ground floor room.

This place was perfect for the 3 of us. Lots of room to relax and a great bath. The interior design and Japanese room made the stay feel very Kyoto and the room has a bunch of natural light. Location is amazing, only a few steps to Nishiki market, there were a ton of great local food options really close and a little further to the bus stop. Only issue I had was they sent the check in instructions in Japanese so I missed that we needed to check in at a different location. I'm not sure how that happened but just be sure to find the check in location near Kyoto station before you go to the hotel.

Comfortable nice living area. However the check in location is different from the accommodation. Can provide some flexibility to allow for check in at the accommodation as well.

I was worried about the main desk being separate from the actual location we were staying at, but they had baggage storage at both locations, the check in was easy, everyone provided lots of detail for us, and we got a free shuttle to our location where they made sure we got our keys and got in before leaving. The rooms were some of the most spacious we had during our time in Japan, with lots of amenities, and the location was so close to so many things. The information pamphlet helped direct us to multiple places we wanted to go so we could quickly check a lot off our list and explore Kyoto in a short time. The beds were comfortable and the shower was nice with strong water pressure and warm water. Overall a great experience.

Best accomodation in our whole Japan trip. Fantastic service with a free shuttle to accomodation from check in point including a lovely staff member providing tour advice. The apartment itself is exceptional. Huge by Japanese standards, very modern amenities, amazing location. We wish our stay here had been longer

This room was above and beyond our expectations. We had 4 friends traveling together. There were three single beds and we set up one bed on the floor in the dining room area. The bathroom was big and clean. There was also a separate toilet in the bedroom. Overall very clean and great area right next to Nishiki Market. They also had a toilet downstairs and an area to store our luggage after we checked out.

The location of Nishiki Resi stay is fantastic, just step away from the Market. The place is very clean and the shower and toilet area are great. Love the huge shower in the same area of the tub, what a great layout! We only stayed 2 nights so we did not use the convenient kitchen area. But having it there for our next longer visit will be great! Checking in was easy, and the free shuttle to the room was fantastic, it took away many of our worries after a long flight and train ride. Everyone from the nice lady that checked us in to our very informative shuttle driver was professional and made us feel welcome. We loved how there was a laundry and also a very easy way to store our luggage on the last day so we could still explore the area. They were also very helpful calling a cab for the train station for us and having it arrive on time the day we left. That would have been difficult for us not speaking the language or having reliable phone service. The only bit of discomfort would have to have been the low beds, they are comfortable once you are in them but could be difficult for some to get out of ! But all the low furniture is normal for Japan so get used to it! We had such a wonderful stay and it is our goal to visit Japan and stay here again! Thank you for being our favorite place on our Japan visit

Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) had a wonderful time at Resi Stay Nishiki. We stayed in a Suite Family Room and there was plenty of space for everyone. The hotel is right next to Nishiki Market and walking distance to subways and other shopping streets. Amenities-wise, our room had the perfect blend of modern conveniences and washitsu. The check-in venue is a block away from Kyoto Station; after check-in, there is a hotel shuttle that will take guests to the actual hotel location. We would stay at Resi Stay again in a heartbeat!

A gem of a find. Spacious, clean and fantastic location just by Nishiki Market and stone’s throw away from main shopping strip where Daimaru and Takashimaya are. Also within walking distance of Gion. Will come back again.

This hotel is just a few hundred feet from the heart of Nishiki Market. The 1st floor room we had was quiet spacious. The toilet is in a separate room. The soaking tub is fantastic and the bathroom amenities nice. This is a great hotel from which to launch your daily Kyoto adventures. The room is clean and came with a kitchenette so you can enjoy your market finds. The only minor complaint is that the check in desk is offsite near the JR station and Tokyo Tower and can be a tad difficult to find as it is not on the 1st floor/ground level. The staff are very friendly and check in very easy. You then have to take public transportation hauling your luggage around. This is not a problem in good weather but can be miserable in bad. If staying multiple days there is no daily house keeping. If you leave the place a mess you also risk a cleaning fee. The only other complaint is that you can sometimes hear your neighbors as the sound insulation is minimal though not too bad unless you are a really light sleeper. This is a nice location to stay, plenty of places to eat, and close to public transportation and reasonably priced! It is also within walking distance of an Ichiran Ramen shop, Yumm!

State-of-the-art facilities in a beautifully designed space! One of the most cosy and comfortable places I've ever stayed in, complete with comprehensive amenities and such thoughtful service! Definitely hope to stay there again - My only regret is that I can't stay longer!! Thank you for creating such a perfect place. <3 Super convenient access to Nishiki market which is full of food, and the subway station is within easy walking distance too. Great 'home base' to tour Kyoto from, and also to travel to Osaka by train from.
